The Rotaract Club of Alumni of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and the Rotaract Club of Mount Carmel College, India, jointly organized a webinar on "The Biodiversity of Plant Wildlife" on 6th March 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of plant diversity and its role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. The webinar featured discussions on tribal communities, wildlife hotspots, and the biodiversity of the Himalayas, South India, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The webinar was a resounding success, with participants gaining valuable insights into the importance of plant biodiversity and conservation. The speakers emphasized the need for collective action to protect plant wildlife and preserve ecosystem balance.
