The Rotaract Club of Bangalore JP Nagar hosted a special interactive session “Charche with Chikmath”, aimed at facilitating a focused dialogue between the club members and the District Rotaract Representative Elect (DRRE) for RY 2024–25, Rtr. PHF Karthik Chikmath. The upcoming Rotary year 2025-26 marks a significant milestone for the club—being the home club of the DRR—the session was designed to strengthen our engagement with the incoming district leadership and provide a space for open conversation. The interaction allowed club members to get firsthand insights into the district’s evolving vision, leadership plans, and key focus areas for the upcoming Rotary year. The session kicked off with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the DRRE’s journey in Rotaract. It then moved into a structured dialogue where members had the opportunity to express their thoughts, share feedback, and ask questions related to district programs, club collaboration opportunities, and upcoming initiatives. The discussion was candid and engaging, covering themes such as inter-club communication, member retention, recognition frameworks, and how clubs can align with the district calendar while preserving their own unique culture and energy. Members also shared their expectations from the district leadership and sought clarity on areas where they could contribute more actively. The open-floor format encouraged active participation and enabled meaningful dialogue between the DRRE and the club members. Overall, the session served as a valuable platform for alignment, mutual understanding, and collaboration ahead of the new Rotary year. It reinforced the importance of transparent communication and proactive planning, while also marking a moment of pride for the club as the DRR’s home base. The club looks forward to further engagement with the district core team and continuing to contribute meaningfully to the collective growth of Rotaract.
