On the afternoon of March 26th, 2025, something truly special unfolded at SSMRV College. From 3:20 pm to 4:30 pm, a group of us came together for Shero 3.0 (Phase 1) — the first step in a heartfelt initiative dedicated to showing love and support to the transgender community. With 5 BODs and 20 enthusiastic members, we decided to do something simple, yet deeply meaningful: write handwritten letters to transgender individuals. In a world that's constantly moving online, we wanted to slow down and connect in a more personal, genuine way. Each letter was filled with warmth, kindness, and messages of hope — reminding someone out there that they are seen, valued, and not alone. It wasn’t just about the words on paper; it was about letting someone know that there are people who care, who stand with them, and who celebrate their identity. The energy in the room was quietly powerful — everyone was thoughtful, emotional, and fully present. What’s beautiful is that this entire event came together with just ₹25 spent, proving that the biggest impact doesn’t always come from big budgets, but from big hearts. Shero 3.0 (Phase 1) wasn’t just an event — it was a moment of real connection, and a gentle reminder that kindness, when shared, can make the world feel a little more like home.
