On the occasion of World Rotaract Week, the Rotaract Club of Jain Evening College, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Koramangala, successfully executed Project Anna, a heartfelt initiative under the Zone Sorcerers’ Mission 2025, aimed at serving 500 warm meals to the underprivileged across Bengaluru. Starting from Jain Evening College, VV Puram, on 6th April 2025 at 12:30 PM, volunteers from both clubs came together with passion and dedication, distributing meals in Jayanagar East, Shivajinagar, and Majestic. With over 17 volunteers and immense public support, the project ensured that 500 individuals received nourishing meals served with dignity and compassion. The efforts not only addressed hunger but also created moments of human connection and kindness, reinforcing our club’s core theme—Anna, Akshara, and Arogya. The total donations collected amounted to ₹14,500, while the overall expense stood at approximately ₹16,750, with the difference covered by the organizing clubs. The success of this initiative was made possible by generous contributions, where just ₹27 helped feed one person, and several donors came forward to sponsor bulk meals, making a wider impact. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Rotaract Club of Koramangala for their unwavering support and teamwork, and to all donors, sponsors, and well-wishers for believing in the cause. Together, we proved that with unity and service, we can bring change—one meal at a time.
