On 25th March 2025, in honor of World TB Day, the Rotaract Club organized an online Tuberculosis Awareness Webinar through Google Meet. The session was led by Rotaract Doctor Harish, who spoke in a very simple, clear, and relatable manner, making it easy for everyone to understand the seriousness of TB. He walked the participants through what Tuberculosis actually is, how it spreads, the symptoms to watch out for, and how it can be prevented and treated. He also spoke about the support systems available, especially government schemes that are in place to help TB patients manage their treatment without financial burden. The webinar had about 30 participants, and the atmosphere felt more like a conversation than a lecture. Everyone was actively listening, and towards the end, there was a very interactive Q&A session. People asked their doubts freely, and Dr. Harish responded with patience and clarity, making sure every question was answered. What made the session special was how approachable and informative it felt. It wasn’t just about medical facts—it was about understanding, awareness, and breaking the stigma surrounding TB. The participants left the session feeling more aware and equipped to talk about TB within their families and communities. It was a simple, yet powerful step towards spreading the right information and encouraging people to seek help early.
