As part of the Skill A Week initiative, the Rotaract Club of Banashankari kicked off the first week by organizing an engaging and informative session on Money Management for students from 7th to 10th standard at Sunkenahalli Government School. The session aimed to introduce young minds to the basics of finance, helping them understand concepts such as budgeting, saving, and the importance of managing money wisely. The session was conducted by Rtr. Bhuvan along with Rtr. Anuja and Rtr. Dhivij, who simplified complex financial topics and tailored the content to the students' level of understanding. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students were encouraged to think about their financial habits and the importance of making informed decisions about money, even at a young age. The event was well-received, with students actively participating in discussions and asking questions about how they could start managing their personal finances. The goal of this session was to equip students with the foundational knowledge needed to make smart financial choices in the future, empowering them with skills that would benefit them for years to come. Impact: The first week of Skill A Week successfully provided valuable financial knowledge to students who may not have had access to such information before. It highlighted the Rotaract Club of Banashankari's commitment to community service and education, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with essential life skills. Overall, this session marked a positive start to Skill A Week, setting the tone for more impactful educational sessions in the upcoming weeks.
