BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Project Pad was a joint initiative aimed at spreading awareness about menstrual health and hygiene among students of classes 8th, 9th, and 10th. The event also included the donation of 500 sanitary pads to support students in maintaining menstrual hygiene. EVENT DESCRIPTION: Project Pad was conducted as a sister club collaboration between the Rotaract Club of BMSCE and the Rotaract Club of Banashankari. The event focused on educating young students about the importance of menstrual hygiene, addressing common myths, and promoting healthy practices. Members from both clubs led an interactive session where students were encouraged to openly discuss menstrual health, breaking the stigma around the topic. The session covered essential topics such as the biological process of menstruation, proper sanitary practices, and the importance of personal hygiene during menstruation. To support students in managing their menstrual health, a total of 500 sanitary pads were donated, ensuring they had access to essential hygiene products. The initiative aimed to promote confidence and comfort among young girls by providing them with the necessary knowledge and resources.
