BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Mahadan 10.0, an annual blood donation drive organized by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE, successfully collected 436 units of blood this year. Collaborating with other social clubs and involving NSS and NIMHANS blood bank, the event brought together a huge crowd in support of this noble cause. EVENT DESCRIPTION: Mahadan 10.0, the annual blood donation drive, was held on campus at BMSCE's Indoor Stadium and Dining Hall. The event ran from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and saw an incredible turnout, with 436 units of blood collected. Organized by the Rotaract Club of BMSCE in collaboration with various social clubs of BMSCE, the event was a huge success, thanks to seamless coordination with the participating blood banks—NSS and NIMHANS Blood Bank. Upon arrival, donors first filled out registration forms before undergoing a basic health check-up. This included checking their blood pressure and hemoglobin levels, conducted by the medical teams from the blood banks. Only those who met the necessary health criteria were allowed to donate blood. Volunteers were stationed throughout the process to guide donors and ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue, consisting of the Indoor Stadium and Dining Hall, was set up to accommodate the high number of donors, with careful attention to ventilation to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
