On the 29th April the Rotaract Club of Jain Evening College in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College organized a session titled "Elevate Your Presence," focusing on the topic of Executive Presence. The session was led by Arini Ghosh, an accomplished image consultant and transformational coach, alongside Prashanth Rao. Arini Ghosh brings a wealth of experience with a background in image consulting, general management, and a strong focus on training and development. Her extensive experience spans over two decades in consulting, project management, and operations, particularly within the banking and finance sectors. The session commenced with Arini outlining the objectives, aiming to enhance our understanding of Executive Presence and its significance. She began by discussing the definition of Executive Presence, inviting audience participation to provide their insights, which she then refined. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to understanding how image and soft skills contribute to one's presence, emphasizing that a first impression is formed within seconds and can significantly impact perceptions of trustworthiness, authority, and capability. Arini further illustrated the concepts of Executive Presence through interactive activities, such as analyzing photographs to discern capabilities based on appearance, and showcasing a scene from the movie "Pretty Woman" to highlight the impact of dressing style on first impressions. She shared insights on building a personal image and confidence by drawing examples from prominent personalities like Ratan Tata, Michelle Obama, and Shah Rukh Khan. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, leaving participants with practical strategies to enhance their Executive Presence.
