The Rotaract Club of Jyoti Nivas College (RID - 3191) collaborated with the Rotaract Club of Purbi Chitwan (RID - 3292, Nepal-Bhutan) in an innovative project titled "Vibe Swap." This initiative aimed to foster cultural exchange through music by creating and sharing themed playlists that reflect our unique preferences and stories. The primary goal of Vibe Swap was to explore the significance of music genres by sharing curated playlists and discussing the personal inspirations behind each track. This experience was not just about the songs; it was about connecting through narratives and the emotions that music evokes. The Rotaract club of Jyoti Nivas College explored the genres Classic Bollywood and Relaxing Songs; and the Rotaract club of Purbi Chitwan explored Workout and Disco Songs. On April 13, 2025, at 7:30 PM via Google Meet, both clubs gathered to present their playlists. We shared insights into our song choices, discussing the cultural context and personal experiences tied to the music. We played selected tracks, fostering an engaging dialogue about how these songs resonate within their respective genres. Vibe Swap not only enhanced our understanding of diverse musical styles but also strengthened international friendships and cultural appreciation. It was a celebration of creativity, connection, and the universal language of music.
