The Rotaract Club of RVCE, in collaboration with Vasan Eye Care, RR Nagar, organized a Free Eye Checkup Camp on 23rd April 2025 at the RVCE Healthcare Centre. The initiative aimed to promote eye health and early detection of vision-related issues among students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. The camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued throughout the day until 5:00 PM, ensuring ample time for everyone on campus to avail the service. A dedicated team of professionals from Vasan Eye Care conducted comprehensive eye screenings using advanced diagnostic tools. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 360 individuals, including students, faculty members, and support staff, participating and benefiting from the free consultations. Those identified with potential eye conditions were advised on necessary follow-ups and treatments. This initiative was part of the club’s ongoing commitment to community health and well-being. By making essential healthcare services accessible on campus, the Rotaract Club of RVCE took a meaningful step toward encouraging preventive care and health awareness. The camp was appreciated by the RVCE community for its smooth execution, impactful outreach, and the genuine care extended to every participant. It stood as yet another example of service in action by the club.
