BRIEF DESCRIPTION: On World Art Day, the Rotaract Club of BMSCE celebrated creativity with a “Doodle Wall” – a large white cardboard placed in a central campus location, inviting spontaneous artistic expression from everyone. EVENT DESCRIPTION: To commemorate World Art Day 2025, the Rotaract Club of BMSCE organized a unique, open-ended art initiative of having a Doodle wall. the concept was simple yet powerful—a large white cardboard sheet was placed in the busiest part of campus, along with colorful markers. Anyone walking by was welcome to doodle, write, or draw whatever they felt inspired by. With no theme or restrictions, the wall became a free-flowing canvas of student imagination. From morning till evening, the Doodle Wall attracted a diverse crowd. Students expressed everything from abstract patterns to social messages, personal thoughts, cartoons, and cultural symbols. Faculty members and staff participated, adding a collaborative, intergenerational flavor to the wall. The board transformed hour by hour, becoming a colorful collage of voices and visions. The idea aimed not just to celebrate art, but also to offer a space for uninhibited expression—a form of silent yet powerful communication. It fostered community bonding and mental relaxation amidst the regular academic hustle. SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS: Over 100+ participants in a single day Contributions from students, staff, and faculty alike Entire wall filled within 6 hours. Less budget initiative with sustainable materials. Promoted mental wellness through free expression. IMPACT ON ATTENDEES: The event provided a refreshing break from routine and allowed students to express themselves without judgment. Many participants shared that the experience was therapeutic and fun. The collective artwork became a talking point on campus and reminded everyone of the importance of creative outlets in daily life. BEHIND THE SCENES (INDIVIDUAL EFFORTS): Special recognition goes to the core team who handled the logistics early morning—setting up the board, placing markers, and arranging signage. Rtr Madhav coordinated with the administration to get approval swiftly, while Rtr Mariam managed the crowd and media coverage. Additionally, the BOD stayed post-event to carefully dismantle the whiteboard and take the final , Their quiet dedication made the event smooth and impactful.
