The Zero Hunger Initiative was implemented as part of our contribution to Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger, with the objective of addressing food insecurity and ensuring access to nutritious meals for marginalized segments of society. This project specifically focused on supporting street workers and sweepers, who often go unnoticed despite their critical role in maintaining public hygiene. Through this initiative, our team distributed freshly prepared, balanced meals to 15 street workers and sweepers, recognizing their daily contributions and addressing their immediate nutritional needs. The meals were prepared with a focus on hygiene and dietary balance to ensure both health and dignity were upheld. In addition to food distribution, short conversations and interactions were held to spread awareness on the importance of nutrition, hydration, and self-care—topics often overlooked in their line of work. The project emphasized respect and gratitude toward these individuals and was carried out with sustainability in mind, ensuring minimal food waste and eco-friendly packaging. This initiative not only alleviated hunger for a day but also fostered community engagement and social responsibility among our volunteers and supporters.
