The RYLA event, held on May 4th, 2024, was organized by the Rotary Club of Koramangala in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ramanagara Silk City. Though the journey to Ramanagara stretched to over two hours, it was filled with laughter, bonding, and anticipation. Participants engaged in hands-on learning in dairy farming, sericulture, and mango cultivation, gaining valuable insights into rural life and agriculture. They also learned about government schemes supporting these sectors. A visit to the Kanva Reservoir offered lessons in environmental sustainability and local history. The inspiring story of Shanthamma, a woman farmer, motivated everyone to face challenges with courage. The event brought together six clubs, encouraging collaboration and shared learning. Interactive activities helped develop leadership and teamwork skills. Fun moments like milking cows and observing silkworms made the experience unforgettable. Overall, the event empowered youth with knowledge, inspiration, and a renewed sense of community leadership.
