On 10th June 2025, our club organized a thoughtful community service fundraiser titled “Stack It Up,” aimed at promoting sustainability while raising funds for future service projects. As part of this eco-conscious initiative, we collected old newspapers, books, and magazines from our members and local community. In total, an impressive 65 kilograms of recyclable materials were gathered. These collected items were then sold to a recycling company, and through this simple yet impactful effort, we successfully raised ₹1050. While the amount might seem modest, the true value lies in the message it sends — that even everyday waste can be transformed into meaningful support for a greater cause. This project proudly falls under Rotary’s “Supporting the Environment” area of focus. By encouraging recycling and reducing paper waste, we aimed to contribute to environmental conservation and responsible waste management. The initiative not only supported the environment but also educated members about the importance of sustainable living and the power of collective action. What made this fundraiser unique was its dual impact — promoting eco-awareness while generating resources for community betterment. It served as a reminder that even small actions, when done with purpose, can make a big difference. Stack It Up proved that with the right intent, waste can indeed be turned into worth. Through this project, we took one more step toward building a greener, cleaner future — one stack of paper at a time.
