The Community Kitchen event, held near the KSRP Community Hall, was a heartwarming initiative aimed at making a difference, one meal at a time. Organized with the support of Donatekart, the event ran from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and was divided into two interactive slots – morning (9:00 AM – 1:30 PM) and afternoon (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM). The day began with fun icebreaker sessions for participating employees, after which they were divided into smaller teams and assigned different food preparation sections. Volunteers, dressed in mustard yellow, were present not to cook, but to assist and support the employees, ensuring smooth coordination and providing materials as needed. Once the meals were ready, a refreshing break followed where employees enjoyed snacks. Later in the day, children and families from the community joined in, and the employees took charge of serving meals on banana leaves, adding a personal and traditional touch to the experience. The event wasn’t just about service – the atmosphere was filled with music, games, and joy. Hampers were distributed as tokens of appreciation, adding to the spirit. After each slot, the area was cleaned up and set for the next group, maintaining order and hygiene throughout. The Community Kitchen stood as a beautiful example of collaboration, compassion, and community spirit – proving that a simple meal shared with love can go a long way.
