With a vision of spreading warmth with every mile, the Blanket Donation Drive organized by the International Service Avenue turned into more than just a charitable act — it became a beautiful reminder of the power of humanity. The initiative was driven with purpose, heart, and a strong sense of community. It brought together a team of compassionate individuals — our dedicated Board of Directors and enthusiastic club members — all united by one goal: to make a difference in the lives of those who sleep beneath the open sky. This noble initiative wasn’t just about distributing blankets; it was about reaching out with empathy to the souls who often go unnoticed in the city's rush. A total of 30 blankets were carefully distributed to homeless and underprivileged individuals across various parts of Bengaluru, offering them not just physical warmth, but also a sense of being seen, valued, and cared for. The entire drive was conducted during the night via car, which enabled us to safely reach multiple distant locations in one night — ensuring that our help truly touched lives across the city. What made this experience truly special was the spirit in which it was carried out. As we drove through the quiet streets, there was a silent understanding among us — that we were not just delivering blankets, but a message of hope. The moments of exchange — the eye contact, the hesitant yet heartfelt “thank you,” the soft smiles in return — all added a layer of emotional depth to the drive.
