The MSSI World MS Day Celebration is a nationwide initiative led by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI) to raise awareness and promote advocacy for individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In solidarity with this global health movement, the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Revolution (RACBR) proudly participated to support the cause and help amplify the voices of MS warriors. Through this collaboration, RACBR joined hands with MSSI to organize and participate in awareness-building events such as rallies, interactive talks, cultural programs, and wellness sessions. This year’s theme, “Connections”, emphasized the importance of building strong personal and social networks for those affected by MS and promoted empathy, understanding, and inclusivity across communities. Objectives: To stand in solidarity with MS warriors and raise awareness. To support MSSI in amplifying its outreach and visibility. To engage youth in advocating for chronic illness awareness. To promote inclusivity and break stigma around invisible disabilities. To contribute to creating an informed, compassionate society. Key Contributions by RACBR: Volunteering at the event for coordination and logistics. Participation in awareness walks and outreach campaigns. Social media support through curated posts and reels to spread awareness. Assisting in organizing sessions, registration, and distributing educational materials. Engaging with MS warriors and sharing their stories through club platforms. Impact: Strengthened partnership between youth organizations and health advocacy groups. Greater awareness about Multiple Sclerosis among young citizens. Encouraged inclusive community participation in public health causes. Highlighted the role of service clubs like RACBR in nationwide social impact movements.
