Backbenchers is a heartfelt initiative by the Rotaract Club of Bangalore JP Nagar aimed at enhancing the quality of primary education in underserved rural schools. Recognizing the urgent need for basic infrastructure, our club successfully fundraised and facilitated the donation of 5 Nali Kali table-chair sets, equating to 5 tables and 25 chairs, to Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale in Uthameshwara, Koppa Taluk, Chikmagalur. These specially designed sets support the Nali Kali teaching methodology, a child-centric learning approach that emphasizes joyful, activity-based education. To further boost the learning environment, we are currently in the process of delivering: 3 refurbished desktop computers for digital exposure Educational charts and visual aids to create an engaging classroom atmosphere
