On 17th May, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. proudly relaunched Project Majjige, their flagship community outreach initiative from last year — and it returned with all the flair of a blockbuster sequel! Set against the sizzling backdrop of a typical Bengaluru summer, this initiative saw the team distributing over 150 glasses of chilled, masala-infused buttermilk to the hardworking laborers around Hebbal. It wasn’t just a drink — it was the ultimate “interval break” for those who rarely get one. Before the distribution, volunteers assembled for a high-energy Majjige prep session — think of it as the “montage scene” in every good Sandalwood movie, where the heroes come together for a mission. Only this time, instead of swords or bikes, it was curd, water, salt, and a touch of masala. Some even joked it felt like a scene straight out of a Shivarajkumar film — all hustle, heart, and wholesome fun! As the club handed out the buttermilk, the smiles they received were as heartwarming as a Rishab Shetty climax, proving that even the smallest gestures can become moments of pure cinema — raw, real, and rooted in community. For the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., Project Majjige is more than an event. It’s a celebration of kindness, culture, and connection — and a reminder that in Namma Bengaluru, compassion never goes out of style. Who needs a hero on screen when you've got heroes on the streets serving majjige with love?
