The Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology, under the International Services Avenue, launched a creative and meaningful international service initiative titled Rotaract StoryMap. This project aimed to strengthen ties with clubs outside our district by showcasing their impactful service efforts alongside the culture and uniqueness of their region. As part of this initiative, a detailed Google Form was created and shared with the clubs that had hosted our Rotaractors during the R.I.D.E (Rotary International District Exchange) program. By reaching out after the exchange, the project served as a way to continue the connection and appreciation between our club and those that welcomed our members in Assam and Delhi. The form invited clubs to share details about their location, describe a notable service project they had undertaken, highlight important aspects of their local culture—such as tourist spots, traditional foods, and landmarks—and upload relevant visuals like photos or videos. The focus was on celebrating not just service, but the spirit of the place the club represented. The responses received offered sincere insight into the social impact and cultural pride of these regions. Each submission was curated and uploaded to an interactive digital map using storymap uploads.knightlab.com, where users could visually explore the entries by location. The StoryMap allowed people to learn about both the work done by these clubs and the identity of their communities. While the project engaged a limited number of clubs, the intent was never about scale—it was about connection. Every entry reflected genuine effort, and by bringing them together on a shared platform, the project helped celebrate the diversity and unity within the Rotaract movement. Through the Rotaract StoryMap, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. demonstrated how international service can go beyond events and formal exchanges. By continuing the bond with clubs we had interacted with during RIDE, and offering them a space to share their story with the world, we created something lasting—a digital bridge between regions, built on shared values, mutual respect, and the power of storytelling. https://uploads.knightlab.com/storymapjs/2579ed697a2877666cb6a935b9220ebc/final-story-map/draft.html
