Atria Institute of Technology

Description

On 14th June 2025, the Seminar Hall at Atria Institute of Technology transformed into a dance floor bursting with energy, as the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. hosted a high-spirited Dance Workshop exclusively for the incoming and outgoing board members. With over 40–50 enthusiastic Rotaractors grooving together, the session wasn't just about learning steps — it was about building bonds, celebrating expression, and turning up the volume on club service through rhythm and movement. Leading the way were our in-house powerhouses — Rtr. Yashwanth (Fellowship Director for Fine Arts & Theatre), Rtr. Vaishnavi, and Rtr. Rithvik (Brand Ambassadors) — who brought the heat, the hype, and the hustle. The spotlight track? “Kanimaa” from Retro — the kind of Kannada hit that gets your feet moving before your brain even catches up. As the bass dropped and moves kicked in, the room lit up with laughter, coordination (well, eventually), and pure, contagious joy. From shoulder rolls to synchronized stomps, everyone gave it their all — even if some looked more like backup dancers in a comedy skit. But that was the magic. Whether you were nailing the choreography or inventing your own “freestyle,” it was impossible not to have fun. The session even featured a lively reel shoot, capturing all the sweaty smiles, epic moves, and that one person who turned left instead of right — we’re calling it creative interpretation. Though it was a club service project at its core, it turned into something much more — a shared learning experience. As a team, we not only laughed and danced but also stepped out of our comfort zones and picked up new skills together. From overcoming hesitation to embracing rhythm, it was proof that service can also mean growth, and fun can be a powerful teacher. The Rotaract Dance Workshop proved that passion, purpose, and a killer playlist can go a long way. It was sweaty, silly, soulful — and absolutely unforgettable.
