On 11th March 2025, the Rotaract Club of KLE Law College, in association with the Internship and Placement Committee, hosted a specialized seminar on “Maritime Law & Its Applications” and career opportunities through LLM in Maritime Law. The session was delivered by Ms. Shalini, Assistant Professor (Law) and Faculty Coordinator of the Internship and Placement Committee at Gujarat Maritime University. She provided insightful perspectives on the emerging field of maritime law, its global relevance, jurisdictional challenges, and the growing demand for legal professionals in shipping, trade, and marine environmental regulation. She also highlighted the structure and scope of pursuing an LL.M in Maritime Law, sharing valuable guidance for students aspiring to build a niche legal career. The seminar proved to be highly informative and engaging, opening new avenues of legal exploration for attendees and encouraging them to consider specialized domains beyond traditional practice.
