Arunima Participants: 19 members Event Time: 4 hours Volunteering Hours: 76 + 12 = 88 Venue: Prakat Solutions, HSR đ§ Purpose of the Project: Sankalpa V2.0 was a learning and development session exclusively conducted for the Board of Directors of 2025â26 to set the context for the year and prepare the BOD for the vision and mission of the upcoming Rotary year. The meeting served as a platform to introduce the team, align on club goals, and foster early coordination for the months ahead. đ Description: The session began with an engaging icebreaker to energize the team. Each member introduced themselves through a fun game. Following this, President-Elect Rtr. Rtn. Jamal Ahmed welcomed the gathering and set the tone for the dayâs learning. The first learning session was facilitated by Rtr. Rtn. Sowmya and Rtr. Rtn. Ram, who addressed the gathering on the clubâs legacy and key flagship projects. They provided an overview of the various service areas and the impact created in each. A brief discussion on RI terminologies followed, during which participants' questions were addressed. The facilitators highlighted the power of being a Rotaractor and elaborated on the additional responsibilities held by members of the BOD. This session comprehensively covered the objectives of Rotary International and the clubâs contribution to those goals. The next segment was handled by the President-Elect, who spoke about the clubâs vision and strategy. Rtr. Rtn. Jamal began by sharing relevant statistics about the club and Rotary International, setting the context for each memberâs role within a broader ecosystem. He then elaborated on the types of projects planned, annual goals, and the approach to fundraising. Expectations around processes, documentation, and impact tracking were clearly laid out. Subsequently, Rtr. Meenu and Rtr. Rtn. Arunima shared insights from a Secretariat perspective, emphasizing the importance of timely reporting, documentation, and clear communication. They reinforced the need to make all members future-ready leaders through discipline and clarity. This was followed by a financial briefing by Rtr. Dhruv Sundesha, who walked the team through various financial protocols and explained the division and management of funds. The final segment featured a team-building activity designed to enhance collaborative leadership. The activity, titled âWar Game,â was a strategic simulation that introduced participants to leadership in the context of risk management. It challenged the team to respond to complex scenarios marked by ambiguity and uncertainty. Through this exercise, members explored the importance of decision-making, vulnerability assessment, and strategic thinkingâskills crucial for leading effectively during the year. The session culminated in a strong sense of unity and shared purpose. It served not only as a foundational training initiative but also as a moment of bonding, encouraging the team to work collaboratively by leveraging individual and collective strengths.
