Potluck

Our Rotaract Community Potluck was a resounding success! It was a delightful evening filled with laughter, delicious food, and great company. The diverse range of dishes brought by our talented Rotaractors showcased the rich culinary traditions of our community. From spicy curries to sweet desserts, there was something to satisfy every palate. We enjoyed a lively atmosphere, with conversations flowing freely and laughter filling the air. The food trivia contest was a hit, challenging our culinary knowledge and sparking friendly competition. The live music added to the festive ambiance, creating a memorable experience for all. We also had the opportunity to learn new cooking techniques from our fellow Rotaractors during the cooking demonstrations. It was inspiring to see the creativity and passion that went into each dish. Cancer Awareness Session

The RNSIT Rotaract Club successfully organized an educational program on Cervical Cancer in collaboration with the Cancer Society of Bengaluru and Rotary Bangalore Vidyaranyapura. The event aimed to raise awareness about the disease and the importance of vaccination for females. Over 50 participants attended the session, which featured informative presentations by experts from the Cancer Society of Bengaluru and Rotary Bangalore Vidyaranyapura. The speaker, Dr Sahana KP MS (OBG), FMAS, PGDMFM Certification in ART from NUH, Singapore Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynaecology discussed the causes, symptoms, and prevention of cervical cancer, as well as the benefits of vaccination. The event was a resounding success, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about this important health issue. Akshaya Patra

The “AKSHAYA PATRA” volunteering event at Vaikunta Hills ISKCON was an enriching and impactful experience for the members of the Rotaract Club of RNSIT. The Akshaya Patra Foundation, known for its mission to eliminate hunger and promote education, runs one of the largest mid-day meal programs in India. By providing nutritious meals to millions of schoolchildren, it aims to improve attendance, retention, and the overall well-being of children across the country. The Rotaract Club's involvement at Vaikunta Hills ISKCON focused on supporting the foundation's efforts to prepare and distribute meals. The volunteers actively participated in various stages of the process, from kitchen assistance, packing meals, and organizing distribution efforts, to ensuring the smooth flow of operations. They also interacted with the team members at ISKCON, learning about the logistics and scale of operations involved in feeding thousands of children daily. In addition to the hands-on service, the event also provided Rotaract members with a deeper understanding of the Akshaya Patra Foundation’s impact. The foundation not only provides meals but also strives to promote health, nutrition, and education, creating a more sustainable future for children who otherwise might not have access to regular meals.
