Rotaract Bangalore Uttarahalli, in collaboration with Rotary International District 3191, organized the Polio Awareness Walkathon 2023 on October 28, 2023. The event commenced at 7:30 am, starting from Townhall and concluding at Lalbagh. Our enthusiastic members, along with fellow club members, successfully raised awareness about polio, emphasizing the importance of a polio-free world. It was a memorable event that brought our community together for a great cause.

The total views for this event were appropriate 60k views. Over a month, our content journey through Karnataka's rich tapestry encompasses a holistic exploration of heritage, influential personalities, and the diverse culinary delights that define each district. We illuminated the narratives of historical icons alongside contemporary trailblazers whose contributions have left an indelible mark on Karnataka. These biographical sketches weave a narrative thread connecting the past and the present. unravelling the heritage tapestry of North, Central, South, Coastal, and Eastern Karnataka. From the majestic ruins of Hampi in Bellary to the intricate carvings of Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebid, each district's unique heritage sites and landmarks are meticulously unveiled, capturing the essence of Karnataka's historical richness. From the robust flavours of North Karnataka's Jolada Roti and Enne Badnekayi to the coastal delights of Neer Dosa and Kundapura Chicken, the exploration extends to South Karnataka's iconic Bisi Bele Bath and Mysore Pak, as well as Central Karnataka's Akki Roti and Pandi Curry. Concluding our culinary sojourn, East Karnataka unfolds its gastronomic treasures, featuring delights like Benne Dosa and Belgaum Kunda. Rotaract Trek was an adventurous event where members of the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End embarked on a hike to Yathirajaswamy Betta Hiking Point, located approximately 60 km away. And we hoisted the Indian flag on the peak of the mountain The trek took around 7.5 hours and was conducted in collaboration with the Rangitaranga team. Daan Utsav

Daan Utsav – Trash Collection Drive As part of a collaborative effort with District 3191, our club too part in Daan Utsav, a cause-driven initiative dedicated to sustainable waste management. For this project, we visited Elite Apartments in JP Nagar to engage residents in collecting recyclable waste and raising awareness about responsible disposal practices. Together with the community, we gathered and sorted various recyclables, later handing them over to local recyclers to ensure proper processing. This project promoted community involvement in environmental conservation and emphasized the importance of small actions in achieving a cleaner, greener future.

Planet Voices Symposium

On 16th November 2024, the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End proudly participated as volunteer partners for the Planet Voices Symposium, a dynamic and impactful Interact workshop aimed at inspiring youth for climate advocacy. The event took place at St. Joseph's School Auditorium, Bangalore and featured insightful discussions and brainstorming sessions on climate change and its impact on Karnataka. A highlight of the symposium was the presence of six esteemed IAS officers, who delivered empowering speeches to students, encouraging them to be proactive in addressing environmental challenges. Re-bag Revolution

On November 24, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End hosted the impactful Re-Bag Revolution project at the renowned Kadalekai Parishe in Basavanagudi. In collaboration with the Rotaract Club of SSMRV and the Rotaract Club of Avvyana, we aimed to promote environmental sustainability by reducing plastic usage among vendors. Together, we distributed over 350+ eco-friendly brown bags to support this cause: - SSMRV: 177+ bags - Bengaluru South End: 95+ bags - Avvyana: 45+ bags This initiative not only raised awareness about the harmful impact of plastic but also encouraged vendors and attendees to adopt sustainable alternatives, contributing to a cleaner and greener future.

Dear Soilder

Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., organized a project called Dear Soldier. This initiative was aimed at spreading warmth, gratitude, and New Year wishes to the brave soldiers who protect our nation. As part of the collaboration, our club members penned down 50 heartfelt and inspiring letters, filled with words of encouragement, appreciation, and festive cheer. The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. then took those letters and sent them to the soldiers, ensuring that our messages of love and gratitude reached them. This project was a beautiful reminder of the sacrifices made by our heroes and allowed us to contribute to their happiness, even in a small yet meaningful way.

ENCANTO – Rotaract Club of Bengaluru South End attended ENCANTO, the 2nd Annual District Rotaract Conference hosted by District 3191. The event was held on the 19th and 20th of April at RV Dental College, bringing together Rotaractors, Rotarians, and Interactors from across the district for two days filled with celebration, inspiration, and collaboration. It was a vibrant showcase of cultural brilliance and leadership, featuring captivating performances, engaging speaker sessions, and a strong sense of unity. Retd. Major Raghavendra and other eminent speakers delivered impactful sessions that left the audience inspired. The conference also featured glimpses of Asha Bhatt, electrifying musical performances by renowned bands, zonal and club presentations, the Rota Pitch competition, and the exciting Mr. and Ms. 3191 contest—making ENCANTO a truly unforgettable celebration of talent, teamwork, and the Rotaract spirit.
