Independence Day Celebration

Rotaract club of KGF in collaboration with the Rotary club of KGF celebrated Independence day at the Government school in Tanimadagu. Such initiatives demonstrate the commitment of Rotarians and Rotaractors to community service and making a positive impact on society.Hoisting the Indian flag on the 77th Independence Day is a significant and patriotic gesture, symbolizing the unity and pride of the nation. The act of planting coconut saplings not only promotes environmental sustainability but also holds cultural significance in many parts of India.Providing pens and stationery to over 70 students is a wonderful way to support their education and contribute to their academic success. Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and your contribution will undoubtedly make a difference in these students' lives.The donation of a 50-inch LED TV to the Government school is also a valuable resource that can enhance the learning experience for students and aid in educational activities.The appreciation and felicitation from the teachers and village officers reflect the positive impact of your efforts on the local community. It's evident that the Rotaract club of KGF and the Rotary club of KGF are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Rice-outgoing Ride To Chennai Rid-3232

Rotaract club of KGF had a fantastic time during the 1st RICE event for the year 2023-24 hosted by the Rotaract club of Alandur Incredibles from RID 3232 in Chennai on the 5th and 6th of August. Exploring different places like Mahabalipuram, Marina Beach, and enjoying some leisure time at Phoenix Mall must have been an enriching experience. Additionally, playing sports in Turf would have been a fun way to bond and engage in some physical activity.It's wonderful to see that the Rotaract club of KGF had such a great experience and is looking forward to welcoming members of the Rotaract club of Alandur Incredibles for the upcoming RIDE event. Kisan Diwas

Rotaract Club of KGF successfully organized its flagship project, Kisan Diwas in Collaboration with Rotaract Club of Bangalore United, on December 17, 2023, in Kamasamudram. The primary aim of the event was to understand the challenges faced by farmers, learn about the farming process, and actively engage in agricultural activities. The event commenced at 10 AM and saw the enthusiastic participation of more than 40 individuals, making it a resounding success. The day began with a hearty breakfast at the location, followed by an insightful visit to the first farm. Participants had the opportunity to engage in live agriculture under the guidance of local farmers. A village-style lunch added a cultural touch to the experience. The second farm visit included exploration of a sheep farm, diverse agricultural activities, and complimentary tender coconuts directly from the trees. Games and recognition of winners added a fun and competitive element to the event. The day concluded with a valedictory ceremony at 6 PM, where awards were presented for categories such as Best Farmer and First Registration. The Rotaract Club of Bangalore United collaborated seamlessly, enhancing the overall impact of the project. All participants, including Rotaractors from both clubs, provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, with no negative responses received. The Rotaract Club of KGF expresses gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of Kisan Diwas and extends special thanks to the Rotaract Club of Bangalore United for their valuable collaboration. In conclusion, Kisan Diwas not only achieved its objectives but also created lasting memories for all participants. The club is proud to have hosted an event that garnered unanimous appreciation.

🩸 A Mega Blood Donation Camp🩸

On January 12, 2024, Rotary Club of KGF and Rotaract club of KGF in Association with Rotaract Club of SBMJC KGF organised a Blood donation camp at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College. The event, which ran from 10 am to 1:30 pm, saw an outpouring of support from the community, with over 40 individuals generously donating blood. The participants were a diverse mix, including Rotaractors, college students, and members of the public from both within and outside the community. Their altruistic contributions underscored the spirit of unity and compassion that pervades KGF. Notably, the initiative received invaluable assistance from officials at the Government General Civil Hospital KGF. Their expertise and support ensured that the donation process ran smoothly, and the collected blood was promptly and safely transported to the hospital's blood bank, where it will serve as a lifeline for those in need.

Marathon For Drug Free Kgf

In collaboration with the Rotary Club of KGF, the Rotaract Club of KGF successfully organized "The Marathon for Drug-Free KGF 2023" on December 10th, 2023. The event garnered substantial support from various departments in KGF. Pre-event Promotion: Poster Release: Commencing on November 6th at Girls High School KGF. Pamphlet Distribution: Disseminated 20,000 pamphlets at key locations including bus stands, railway stations, colleges, hospitals, and medical shops. Banner Placement: Installed 15 large banners strategically across the district. Auto Announcements: Promoted the event through auto announcements for three days. Garbage Vehicle Promotion: Utilized eight municipal office-supported garbage vehicles to promote the marathon for three days. Video Publication: Released a video emphasizing the importance of a drug-free KGF featuring doctors and college principals. Press Meets: Conducted three press meets, securing coverage in five newspapers and eight news channels in KGF. Unique Promotion: Enlisted 50 students from the Future Warriors of Indian Army KGF for a three-day trail run, promoting the event at all five KGF railway stations. Event Highlights: Participants: Over 2500 individuals actively participated. Chief Guests: Distinguished guests included Judges of the KGF court, SP of KGF, and Dr. Rajendra Kumar. Prominent Support: Received overwhelming backing from various departments. Awards and Recognition: Trophies: Awarded 24 trophies to the top 6 winners across all categories. Medals: Distributed 250 medals to participants. Participant Amenities: Provided T-shirts and certificates to all participants. Additional Arrangements: Ensured participants enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. Post-event Celebration: Entertainment: Organized a bandset for attendees to celebrate the success of the marathon.
