Smiles Of Love

Our club's visit to the old age home was a community service project which was a heartwarming experience that left an indelible mark on our hearts. We got a chance to spend a memorable evening bringing joy and companionship to the residents, also bringing roses for them. As Mother Teresa once said, "Spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." We understood their needs and also donate medicines to the old age home, which was greatly appreciated. The evening was filled with laughter and music as we played Antakshari, a popular Indian musical game, which the residents thoroughly enjoyed. What struck us was the impressive backgrounds of many residents, who were proficient in English and had worked in top companies. We also treated them with some amazing performances by our club members, showcasing their talents. The simplest of gestures and conversations brought immense happiness to these wonderful individuals. Our project chairs, Rishit Thakkar and Rehan Khaji, did an outstanding job in organizing the event, ensuring that everyone had a wonderful time. As Mahatma Gandhi said, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." We truly felt this as we interacted with the residents. As we bid farewell, we carried with us memories of a truly unforgettable evening and a deeper appreciation for the value of human connection and compassion.

Ro-trek

Ro-Trek club's trek event to Uttari Betta was an unforgettable adventure that brought members Rotaract club of NMIMS, Bengaluru and Rotaract Club of Koramangla closer together. As we embarked on the trek, the excitement was palpable, and the breathtaking scenery only added to the thrill. We played games, made reels, and clicked pictures to capture the memories of this special day. To add a touch of competition, we even had a race to see who could finish the trek first, which brought out the spirit of friendly rivalry among the members. As we reached the summit, we were in awe seeing the stunning views of the surrounding landscape away from our regular lives. We also shared delicious breakfast and lunch with the Rotaract Club of Koramangala, strengthening bond with them. Throughout the trek, we enjoyed each other's company, laughing, joking, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. As "The whole is more than the sum of its parts," and Ro-Trek event was a perfect example of this, where individual enthusiasm and teamwork came together to create an unforgettable experience. The event was a huge success, with everyone leaving with big smiles on their faces as they danced together in bus.
