The generous donation of much-needed benches provided a comfortable and conducive learning environment for the young learners, empowering them to pursue education with renewed enthusiasm and zeal. Voluntary Blood Donation - 15 August 2023

On the occasion of Independence Day, Rotary Bangalore South Parade took a momentous step in service to the community by hosting a Blood Drive on August 15, 2023, at Prestige Falcon City, Konanakunte. This selfless endeavor was dedicated to the noble cause of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. While the project was organized by Rotary Bangalore South Parade, it was enriched by the active participation of three enthusiastic volunteers from Rotaract Bangalore South Parade. Their unwavering commitment to the cause and their tireless efforts were integral to the seamless execution of the event. The results were nothing short of remarkable, as a staggering 100 units of blood were collected during the Blood Drive. This extraordinary outcome underscores the impact that can be made when individuals come together for a shared purpose, especially on a day as significant as Independence Day. On August 20, 2023, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade continued its unwavering commitment to community health with the Health Checkup Camp, a monthly flagship project in collaboration with Vruddhi Charitable Trust. This ongoing initiative has become a cornerstone of our club's community service efforts, exemplifying our dedication to providing essential healthcare services to underprivileged communities. The Health Checkup Camp stands as a beacon of hope for those who may not have regular access to healthcare services. It offers a lifeline to individuals who often face barriers in receiving vital medical attention. Through this project, we aim to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility and ensure that basic health needs are met. Five dedicated volunteers from Rotaract Bangalore South Parade played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event. Their commitment to the cause was palpable as they worked tirelessly to ensure the camp's seamless operation. These volunteers facilitated the registration process, assisted with patient care, and managed logistical aspects, guaranteeing that the camp ran efficiently. Our collaboration with Vruddhi Charitable Trust has been instrumental in sustaining these health checkup camps. Zumba Session

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade added a lively and energetic twist to our bonds with a memorable Zumba session hosted by our parent club, Rotary Bangalore South Parade, on August 6, 2023. This fun-filled event served as a unique bonding experience, bringing together not only our Rotaract members but also our sister clubs in a spirit of unity and camaraderie. The Zumba session was a dynamic blend of music, dance, and enthusiasm, which created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. It was an occasion where we could shed our formal roles and routines and simply enjoy the moment. Laughter and rhythmic movements filled the air as we grooved to the beats of Zumba, led by an energetic instructor. Our Rotaract club members joined hands with our sister club Rotaract club of Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and management strengthening the bonds of friendship and collaboration. We also had the privilege of sharing this delightful experience with our parent Rotary club, Rotary Bangalore South Parade, fostering a deeper connection between the generations. As the session progressed, it became more than just dancing; it became a celebration of unity and the spirit of Rotary and Rotaract. Paper Drive For Canine Care Initiative

From August 16 to 19, 2023, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade organized an environmentally conscious and impactful Paper Drive to raise funds for the upcoming Canine Care Initiative. This endeavor, a testament to our commitment to both the environment and animal welfare, exemplifies the essence of Rotary and Rotaract. The Paper Drive involved the collection of recyclable paper materials from various sources within our community. These seemingly insignificant materials, often relegated to waste, were transformed into valuable resources through recycling. What made this initiative particularly special was the collaboration with our sister club, the Rotaract Club of Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management. Their enthusiastic participation added a powerful dimension to our project, highlighting the strength and unity of our Rotaract community. Together, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade and the Rotaract Club of Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management raised an impressive sum of INR 2,620. These funds will be directed towards the Canine Care Initiative, a project with a profound mission - to provide shelter, medical care, and advocacy for stray and abandoned dogs in our community. Beyond being a fundraising effort, this project embodies our commitment to environmental sustainability and compassion for animals. It demonstrates the immense impact that small yet purposeful actions can have on both our community and the environment.

Voluntary Blood Donation - 12 August 2023

Every year, in celebration of Independence Day, which falls around August 15th, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, in collaboration with our esteemed parent Rotary club, hosts a Blood Donation Drive. This annual tradition not only pays homage to the spirit of patriotism but also underscores our commitment to serving the community in a meaningful and life-saving way. The Blood Donation Drive is a testament to the enduring partnership between Rotaract and Rotary, emphasizing the values of unity and service that both organizations hold dear. As we commemorate the day our nation gained its hard-fought freedom, we also take this opportunity to give back to society by ensuring a stable and sufficient blood supply for those in need. This noble endeavor stands as a living embodiment of the principles upon which our nation was founded - unity, service, and sacrifice. It is a poignant reminder that the spirit of Independence Day extends beyond celebration; it encompasses the responsibility to make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow citizens. During this year's Blood Donation Drive, we are proud to share that 47 units of blood were collected. These 47 units have the potential to save up to 141 lives. This remarkable achievement not only reflects the dedication of our members but also highlights the critical importance of voluntary blood donation in our society. As we come together every year for this voluntary Blood Donation Drive, we not only honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters but also pay tribute to the resilience and compassion that define our community. This remarkable event featured the distinguished presence of Captain Naveen Nagappa, a true war hero who shared his gripping experiences from the Kargil War. The Speaker Meet was a testament to the power of storytelling, where Cpt. Naveen Nagappa took the audience on a compelling journey through his time in the Kargil War. Free Dental And Eye Check-up Camp With Vruddhi Charitable Trust

On September 24th, [Year], Rotaract Bangalore South Parade and Vruddhi Charitable Trust collaborated to host a transformative Free Dental and Eye Check-Up Camp. With a resounding commitment to community welfare, the event drew over 70 participants. The camp addressed two crucial aspects of healthcare: Eye Check-Up and Cataract Surgeries: - Over 30 individuals underwent comprehensive eye examinations. - Significantly, nine individuals were identified as candidates for free cataract surgery, a life-changing intervention that prevented severe vision impairment and greatly improved their quality of life. Dental Check-Ups and Consultations: - More than 25 attendees received free thorough dental check-ups, cleanings, and expert consultations. - In addition to immediate dental concerns, valuable guidance on maintaining optimal oral health was shared. In conclusion, the Free Dental and Eye Check-Up Camp underscored our dedication to community service and made a profound impact on community health and well-being. This collaborative effort, from the clubs for this Club Service project, exemplified the incredible results achieved through unity and community engagement. Our multifaceted roles encompassed event registration, creative decoration. The meticulous attention to detail ensured a seamless and joyful experience for all. 70 eager participants enthusiastically joined this cultural fest, infusing it with boundless energy and joy. They revelled in the activities and danced to their heart's content, creating a lively and unforgettable atmosphere. The success of this event was made possible by the dedication of 8 volunteers from RBSP who worked diligently from start to finish, ensuring that every aspect of the event ran smoothly. Balya Orphanage - Bicycle Donation

On November 14, 2023, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade embarked on 3rd instalment of our flagship project at Balya Orphanage. This cherished initiative reflects our commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of these children. Rotaract Bangalore South Parade takes immense pride in its ongoing support for Balya Orphanage, considering it one of our flagship projects. The project involves a multifaceted approach, ensuring both material contributions and emotional connections with the children. This project is a testament to our proactive approach, where we consistently communicate with the orphanage to understand their evolving needs. From essentials to stationary, carrom boards to wall clocks, each gesture has been carefully woven to support the growth and development of these budding kids. This time, as per the orphanage’s request, we donated bicycles. The essence of our engagement goes beyond material donations. We believe in spending quality time with the children, fostering bonds and embody the spirit of kinship. The day of the donation was filled with immeasurable joy as the children received new bicycles. Their smiles, akin to the twinkling stars, not only validated the success of our project but also reinforced the belief that, as Rotaractors - it's about creating a brighter, more hopeful world for those we serve. Diwali Udugore 3.0

On November 12, 2023, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade collaborated with Rotaract HSR in a heartwarming joint project, "Diwali Udugore 3.0," held at the Slum Quarters in Kasavanahalli. This community service endeavor, falling under the Community Service Avenue, aimed to spread the light of Diwali to the underserved and make a meaningful impact.Our participation went beyond symbolic gestures. In a show of solidarity and support for our fellow Rotaract club, we made a cash contribution of Rs. 1500. The primary focus was bringing joy to 154 children in the slum quarters through the distribution of clothes. The funds contributed, in addition to the clothing drive, created an immersive and joyful experience for them. The smiles on their faces and the sparkles in their eyes spoke volumes about the positive change we collectively initiated, reaffirming our commitment to community service. We extended the festive spirit by providing clothing to more than 350 individuals in the community. This underscores the broader impact of the Diwali Udugore 3.0 initiative, addressing not only the immediate needs of children but also contributing to the welfare of the entire community. "Diwali Udugore 3.0" marks the second time we’re collaborating with HSR, showcasing the power of collective efforts, collaboration, and a spirit of giving to illuminate lives and bring hope during the festive season.

The event commenced with the ceremonial collaring of host club presidents, setting the stage for an evening filled with camaraderie and collaboration. Introductions provided a glimpse into the diverse tapestry of Rotaractors within Zone Titans, establishing a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Rotaract clubs took center stage, announcing their projects and fostering potential collaborations, illustrating the collective commitment to impactful community initiatives. Zonal Rotaract Representatives, Rtr. Rohan A and Rtr. Madhusudhan Kallur, delivered informative updates, touching on essential topics such as Rotary International dues and half-yearly recognition. On the 8th of January 2024, at 5:30 PM, a pivotal gathering unfolded at the Office of the President, Rotary Bangalore South Parade, Sriraksh Bank, Attiguppe, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. This marked the Joint Meeting of Presidents from Rotaract Clubs - Rotaract club of Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce & Management, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, and Rotaract AIEMS . The primary agenda of this significant meeting was to deliberate on the coordination and planning for the upcoming Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). This event holds immense importance in fostering leadership skills and personal development among youth, making the collaborative efforts of the Rotaract Clubs crucial. The meeting, conducted under the leadership of the President of Rotary Bangalore South Parade, served as a platform for open discussions, idea exchange, and strategizing to ensure the success of RYLA. The Presidents of each Rotaract club brought their unique perspectives and strengths to the table, creating a dynamic and productive atmosphere. Birds Of Paradise Farm Visit

On the 25th of February 2024, five of our dedicated Rotaractors embarked on a heartwarming journey to the Birds of Paradise Farm located in Banjarapalya, Bangalore. This impactful visit was organized as a part of our Club Service avenue, aimed at fostering compassion and understanding towards rescued, abandoned, and donated animals. The Birds of Paradise Farm, an esteemed NGO, serves as a sanctuary for these magnificent creatures, providing them with shelter, care, and love. Our Rotaractors had the invaluable opportunity to witness firsthand the tireless efforts of the staff in ensuring the well-being of these exotic animals. During the visit, our volunteers engaged in meaningful interactions with the animals, learning about their unique stories and the challenges they face. Through this experience, they gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of animal welfare and the role we can play in making a positive difference in their lives. With this enriching experience, our Rotaractors left the Birds of Paradise Farm with hearts full of empathy and a renewed commitment to serving not only our community but also our furry and feathered friends.

Cupa Second Chance Adoption Centre

On March 29, 2024, RBSP embarked on a heartwarming journey to the CUPA Second Chance Adoption Centre in Dommasandra, Bangalore. This visit, organized as part of our Community Service avenue with a focus on Animal Welfare, aimed to extend our support and compassion to the furry residents of the centre. During our visit, we had the pleasure of spending quality time with the dogs, providing them with love, attention, and care. To enhance their well-being, we also contributed 10kg of Pedigree dog food, 20 packs of Marigold biscuits, and 1 box of chicken biscuits. Our interactions with the dogs were filled with joy and laughter, as we embraced the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives. With a team of five dedicated volunteers, we dedicated a total of 20 volunteer hours to this enriching experience. Additionally, we made a cash contribution of 2600 rupees to further assist in the centre's operations. As we reflect on this memorable day, we are grateful for the opportunity to support the incredible work being done at the CUPA Second Chance Adoption Centre. Our visit not only brought smiles to the faces of the dogs but also left a lasting impression on our hearts. She provided invaluable insights into animal torture and empowered attendees with actionable steps to contribute towards wildlife protection. The District Official Visit (DOV) for the Rotaract Bangalore South Parade took place on May 11, 2024, at V B Associates in Sheshadripuram. The event was graced by District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Arun Teja Godavarthi and Zonal Rotaract Representatives (ZRRs) Madhusudhan Kallur and Rohan A. The event aimed to facilitate interactions and discussions with district officials, providing a platform for showcasing the club's achievements and future plans.

On May 18th and 19th, 2024, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade proudly participated in the YUGAM District Conference held at R V Dental College. This vibrant and dynamic event was a testament to the spirit and enthusiasm of Rotaractors across the district. Two dedicated members from our club attended, showing their unwavering support and actively engaging in various activities. The conference was a whirlwind of excitement and energy, with a packed agenda that included captivating performances, interactive sessions, and opportunities for networking. The atmosphere was electric as Rotaractors from different clubs came together to celebrate their shared commitment to service and leadership. One of the highlights of the event was winning the zonal roll call. This victory was a proud moment for Zone titans, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of our members. The event featured a variety of entertainment, including stand-up comedy performances that had everyone laughing, live musical performances that showcased incredible talents, and a stunning fashion show that left the audience in awe. Illusioncon - Illusioners Zonal Meet 2.0

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) and Rotaract Club of SSMRV proudly hosted the 2nd Zonal Meet, IllusionCon 2.0, bringing together enthusiastic Rotaractors from across the zone. Held at Cubbon Park, Bangalore, on August 24th, 2024, the event saw vibrant participation from members of RaC SSMRV, RaC Jayanagar, RaC MCC, RBSP, RaC TSMT, RaC KGF, and district representatives. The planning for this grand meetup involved two online meetings where the RBSP and SSMRV teams contributed numerous creative ideas for activities and games. The excitement was so high that we had to narrow down our plans to fit within the available time slot! The meetup kicked off with introductions and a lively game of Ring a Ring o' Roses, setting a fun tone for the evening. Presidents of both host clubs addressed the attendees, and the Zonal Rotaract Representative (ZRR) extended a warm welcome, fostering a sense of camaraderie. The group then enjoyed a spirited round of Simon Says before moving to an open floor session where clubs shared their upcoming projects and achievements, promoting collaboration and celebration. The District Rotaract Representative (DRR) and other district members provided key updates on district initiatives, including the District Learning Assembly (DLA), Rotary International Dues, Rotasia, and RIDE. Zonal updates from the ZRR covered the 1x1 connect and Q1 recognition, keeping members informed and motivated. A highlight of the event was the competitive balloon caterpillar race, which encouraged teamwork and friendly competition. The meetup concluded with heartfelt votes of thanks from the Secretaries of both host clubs, wrapping up a memorable and impactful evening.

Every year, in celebration of Independence Day, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, in collaboration with our esteemed parent Rotary club, hosts a Blood Donation Camp. This noble endeavor stands as a living embodiment of the principles upon which our nation was founded - unity, service, and sacrifice. It is a poignant reminder that the spirit of Independence Day extends beyond celebration; it encompasses the responsibility to make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow citizens During this year's Blood Donation Drive, we are proud to share that 100 units of blood were collected. These 100 units have the potential to save up to 300 lives. Atlas - District Learning Assembly

On September 1st, 2024, the District 3191 held Atlas - District Learning and Assembly at Jyoti Nivas College, Koramangala. This significant event was designed to equip members of various Rotaract clubs with a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities while also fostering the inspiration of new ideas. The facilitators made the sessions highly interactive by presenting real-life situations and conducting role-play discussions. These exercises allowed our Board of Directors to engage in meaningful dialogue, explore new perspectives, and brainstorm project ideas. The breakout sessions were both energizing and engaging, sparking creativity among the participants. Following this, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch before heading into a key meeting where District updates were shared. Some of the highlights included the introduction of Present Saar, a system to monitor member attendance, and an exciting collaboration opportunity with Trash 2 Cash, designed to raise funds in a creative and impactful way. Additionally, the District announced the launch of its official website and newsletter, which we wholeheartedly support as they provide new platforms for communication and engagement. Zonal updates also took center stage, with our zone, Illusioners, proudly showcasing their achievements and outlining ambitious plans for the future. Neravu Project

The District Community Service Team of Rotary International District 3191 is stepping up to provide critical support to the flood-affected areas of North Karnataka and Kerala through the initiative NERAVU. Heavy rains have devastated these regions, leading to widespread flooding, landslides, and significant damage, particularly in Hassan, Wayanad and Ernakulam districts. Homes have been destroyed, and over 1,000 people have been forced to relocate to relief camps. The situation is dire, with landslides along the Shiradi Ghat highway further complicating the movement of vehicles and supplies. The District urged everyone to contribute by donating essential items to help those affected by this disaster. Donations was be accepted until August 11th, 2024. Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) made a generous contribution, donating much-needed relief materials. Our club provided towels, sarees, blankets, and shoes, along with 85 raincoats to help protect those in need from the harsh weather. This effort is a testament to the strength of our community and our shared commitment to making a positive impact. Let’s unite and bring hope to those who need it most.

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, in collaboration with Rotary Bangalore South Parade, Rotaract SICM, and Rotaract Bangalore Orchards, proudly organized Dandiya Dhammal 2.0 on October 20th, 2024, at Rajput Sabha in Vasanth Nagar. The evening was a beautiful blend of tradition, celebration, and community spirit, marking the festival with joy and togetherness. The event began with a soulful pooja dedicated to Durga Mata, celebrating her victory over the demon king Mahishasura. This ritual set a reverent and blessed atmosphere, embodying the triumph of good over evil and the protective power of the divine. Following the pooja, everyone gathered on the dance floor, where vibrant colors and joyful energy filled the room as participants of all ages joined in for Garba and Dandiya. The scene was a visual treat, with traditional attire and rhythmic dance moves creating an electrifying atmosphere. To add to the excitement, there were mesmerizing performances by skilled Garba dancers, captivating the audience and amplifying the festive spirit. As the evening progressed, a delicious authentic Gujarati dinner was served, giving everyone a chance to recharge before heading back to the dance floor. This year’s event, themed Retro, taking the attendees on a nostalgic journey back in time with a vintage ambiance that set the stage for a vibrant experience. The day was filled with inspiring speeches and valuable networking sessions, allowing participants to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss initiatives relevant to today’s youth. After a delicious lunch, the energy only intensified with the highly anticipated Retro Runway competition, where participants showcased classic styles to vie for the title of Retro King or Queen. The event was further enriched by electrifying performances from artists like Rapper Martin Yo, Akash Rambo, and Eshani, whose acts added a burst of energy and excitement to the celebration. Diwali Udugore 4.0

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP), in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Bengaluru HSR, proudly participated in Diwali Udugore 4.0 – A Legacy of Giving, A Diwali of Hope on November 3rd, 2024, at 9th Phase, JP Nagar, Bangalore. This heartfelt initiative aimed to bring light and hope to over 200 individuals living in extreme poverty in makeshift tents. RBSP contributed over 150 pieces of segregated clothing and raincoats to the project, which, in total, included 300 pairs of clothes, 500+ sanitary napkins, 100+ toys, lunch, and stationeries for the community. These collective efforts directly impacted more than 200 underprivileged individuals, offering them much-needed support and care during the festive season. The experience was deeply moving, as the act of giving was met with thankful hearts and joyous smiles. Witnessing the happiness and relief on the faces of those we helped was a surreal and unforgettable reminder of the power of kindness and community. Diwali Udugore 4.0 truly encapsulated the spirit of giving and reinforced our shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Oldage Home Donation Drive

On November 17th, 2024, Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) organized a heartfelt donation drive at Mahalakshmi Old Age Home in Basaveshwarnagar. As part of this initiative, we donated essential groceries, including rice, flour, spices, cooking oil, dry fruits, pulses, sugar, salt, and ghee, amounting to ₹10,000. The visit went beyond just a donation—it was an enriching experience as we spent quality time interacting with the residents home to 30. Their stories of hardships and triumphs offered invaluable lessons in resilience and gratitude. Many shared touching anecdotes about their lives, including the joy of visits from their children, which added warmth to the day. This experience was a poignant reminder of how privileged we are and how precious time is, inspiring us to cherish and make the most of our youthful days. The donation drive not only provided material support but also fostered a sense of connection and understanding with the wise elders, leaving us with full hearts and a renewed commitment to service.

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) proudly collaborated in the workshop by managing public relations, including designing certificates, banners, and mementos for Interact, ensuring the event’s smooth execution, and thoughtfully acknowledging contributors. We’ve received a momento of appreciation for the same. The symposium was a resounding success, inspiring 750+ attendees to take actionable steps toward a sustainable future. With knowledge-sharing, motivational stories, and practical takeaways, it left everyone committed to building a better, greener world.

Tarang Review 2025

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) attended the Tarang Review Meeting, where all participating clubs, district members, and volunteers came together to reflect on the event’s success and discuss areas for improvement. The session started with a round of introductions, setting a collaborative and engaging tone. This was followed by a structured discussion covering various aspects of Tarang, including transportation, crowd management, competition execution, food arrangements, venue setup, and overall event hosting. Each domain was thoroughly analyzed, and members shared insightful feedback based on their experiences. The discussions highlighted key strengths, such as the enthusiasm of student participants and the seamless coordination between volunteers. At the same time, the team identified areas where improvements could be made, such as better scheduling to minimize delays, enhanced crowd control measures, and more streamlined communication channels for event-day coordination. A key takeaway from the review was the collective commitment to making the next edition of Tarang even bigger and better. The team brainstormed innovative ideas to further engage government school students and ensure a more enriching experience for them. One of the most fulfilling moments of the meeting was the appreciation segment, where all clubs and volunteers acknowledged each other’s hard work and dedication. Project Suraksha (Phase 1)

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) actively participated in Project Suraksha (Phase 1), an initiative by Rotaract District 3191 in collaboration with MAYA, aimed at raising awareness about Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) among school students in Bengaluru. This transformative project seeks to equip children with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves while fostering a safe environment for discussions on sensitive topics. The key focus areas of Project Suraksha include understanding safe and unsafe touch, coping mechanisms for distressing situations, reporting channels and whom to approach for help, and building self-confidence to speak up. Phase 1 of the project involved an extensive "Train the Trainers" session conducted by experts from MAYA. This highly interactive session provided valuable insights into how to approach conversations with children on CSA, ensuring they feel safe and understood. Participants were presented with real-life scenarios, case studies, and thought-provoking discussions that challenged their perceptions and responses to such situations. The trainers also facilitated open-ended discussions, encouraging attendees to reflect on their own approach and biases. One of the most impactful elements of the session was learning how to educate children on good touch and bad touch using creative methods like storytelling, skits, and poster creation. The session proved to be an eye-opener, leaving everyone better prepared for the next phase. Phase 2 will involve conducting awareness sessions in government schools, where trained volunteers will directly engage with children, creating a lasting impact under the guidance of MAYA experts.

Tarang 2025

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) took part in Tarang, an initiative by District 3191 dedicated to government school students from grades 5 to 10. The event aimed to provide these students with a platform to compete, perform, and showcase their talents at an inter-school level—an opportunity often more accessible to private school students. The festival featured a diverse range of competitions, including solo and group dance, singing, quiz, drawing, science exhibition, mono acting, drama, spell bee, rangoli, and fancy dress. Over 700 students from across Bangalore participated, making it a vibrant and competitive event. RBSP encouraged students from Government Higher Primary School, Police Colony, to take part, successfully engaging 22 enthusiastic students from grades 5 to 7. The excitement and energy among the kids were infectious as they actively participated in various events. One of our students, Chiranjivee, made us proud by securing 2nd place in the solo singing competition. The experience was both eye-opening and inspiring for the students, as they witnessed the immense talent and spirit of competition around them. Teachers and students alike left with a renewed perspective on the importance of nurturing interests beyond academics.

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) participated in CTRL+FUN, an exciting virtual event organized by the Rotaract Club of Koramangala on January 11th at 8 PM. With over 35 participants, the event was packed with engaging games such as riddles, “Guess the Phrase,” and a competitive Kahoot quiz. RBSP shined in the quiz, with one of our members securing 1st place among all participants! Adding a fun twist, there was also a segment for the most creative pickup lines, making the evening even more entertaining. Held on 15th February 2025 at Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management, the session was led by CA Nikkitha K J, founder of K J N & Associates. With her extensive expertise in financial consulting, audits, and advisory services, she provided a comprehensive breakdown of the Budget 2025 and its implications. The session covered crucial topics, including the macroeconomic impact, sectoral implications, tax reforms and proposals, and how the budget affects individuals. Through interactive tools like word clouds and quizzes, attendees actively engaged with the content, making complex economic concepts more accessible. The event saw an impressive turnout of 100+ participants, including distinguished guests like Principal Prof. Vidya Shivannavar, Rtn. Basavraj Gubbi, and Rtn. Arjun Gubbi. Wordcrafters: Master Art Of Expression

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade participated in Wordcrafters: Master the Art of Expressions, organized by RaC MCC, with the goal of mastering communication and expression. The event was held on Google Meet on March 7th at 6 PM, featuring an insightful session by Rtn. Mohan Kumar. The session covered various aspects of effective communication, including structuring speeches, engaging an audience, and using body language to enhance delivery. Rtn. Mohan Kumar shared valuable insights on the power of storytelling, the importance of clarity in speech, and techniques to overcome stage fear. One of the most inspiring takeaways was how communication is not just about speaking but also about listening actively and adapting to different audiences. The interactive discussions encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones, practice articulation, and develop confidence in public speaking. Participants also got hands-on experience through practical exercises, where they were encouraged to frame and deliver impromptu speeches. This allowed us to assess our strengths and areas for improvement in real time. The session emphasized that communication is a dynamic process that requires continuous learning and adaptation. The session left us feeling motivated to be more open and expressive, reinforcing the idea that communication is a skill that can be honed with practice and the right guidance.

Kids Annual Sports Day

RBSP organized the Kids’ Annual Sports Day for Government Higher Primary School, Police Colony, on March 13th. The entire day was filled with excitement as we conducted games for students from grades 1 to 7, with over 200 enthusiastic participants. Each grade had five engaging games, including Simon Says, Running Race, Musical Chair, Cup Stacking, Memory Game, Book Balancing, and Dictation. The energy among the kids was electrifying from the very start. The running race saw them dashing across the field with pure determination, cheering each other on with bright smiles. Simon Says turned into a laughter-filled session as kids eagerly followed and sometimes hilariously mistook the commands. During Musical Chair, the anticipation was palpable as they raced around the chairs, their excitement building with every beat of the music. The Cup Stacking and Memory Game challenged their focus and quick thinking, and the children amazed us with their incredible reflexes and problem-solving abilities. The Book Balancing game had them giggling as they tried to balance books on their heads, testing their patience and coordination. The Dictation game brought out their competitive spirit, as they eagerly wrote down words, determined to get every spelling right. What made this event truly special was that many of these kids don’t often get opportunities like this. This time, they were informed well in advance, and their preparation and enthusiasm were evident in their participation. To make the day even more memorable, we sponsored medals for every game and every grade. Seeing their faces light up as they received their medals was priceless—it gave them a true sense of accomplishment and pride. It was a heartwarming and fulfilling experience, reinforcing the importance of such events in nurturing confidence, sportsmanship, and holistic development in children.

Cricket Match Screening - Rcb Vs Csk

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP), in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Bangalore Orchards, hosted an electrifying screening of the IPL 2025 showdown between RCB and CSK at That Place for Art on March 28, 2025, from 7 PM onwards. The event brought together over 25 passionate cricket fans from various clubs, including RaC Bangalore Orchards, RaC Bangalore South West, RaC High Grounds, and RaC RVCA. The excitement was palpable as everyone settled in with snacks and soft drinks, ready to witness the much-anticipated clash. The match was a rollercoaster ride—nerve-wracking wickets, jaw-dropping catches, and thunderous sixes kept the energy sky-high throughout the evening. Cheers, chants, and celebrations echoed through the venue, fostering a strong sense of sportsmanship and camaraderie among the attendees. And the cherry on top? RCB emerged victorious! The night ended with celebrations, laughter, and unforgettable memories of a thrilling game. (No CSK fans were harmed :)

District Rotaract 3191 Conference

RBSP proudly attended the 2nd Annual District Rotaract 3191 Conference held on 19th and 20th April 2025, a grand celebration of Rotaract spirit, achievements, and camaraderie. It was a power-packed two-day event filled with energy, creativity, and inspiration that brought together Rotaractors from across the district under one vibrant roof. The conference featured a series of electrifying performances, zonal roll calls, club presentations, and thought-provoking speaker sessions. From cultural dances to musical acts and , the performances showcased the rich diversity and talent of our district. The zonal roll calls were a riot of energy, creativity, and cheers, with each zone presenting their unique style. RBSP, representing Zone Illusioners, actively participated in the roll call, along with the other 11 clubs from our zone. Our synchronized coordination, engaging performance, and colorful representation helped Zone Illusioners win the Best Zonal Roll Call, a proud moment for us all. Club presentations allowed each club to reflect on their impactful projects, milestones, and innovative ideas. It was insightful to witness the diversity of initiatives taken across the district and draw inspiration for future collaborations. The speaker sessions featured dynamic speakers from various fields who spoke about leadership, social responsibility, and personal growth, leaving the audience deeply motivated. We were thrilled to celebrate individual achievements as well. Rtr. Rtn. Apoorva was recognized for her outstanding contribution in designing and emceeing the event, while Rtr. Vinayak J was awarded Best Dressed Rotaractor Male, adding a touch of glamour and pride to the occasion. Overall, the conference was a perfect blend of celebration, learning, and bonding—truly an unforgettable experience that strengthened our Rotaract spirit.

Rotacamp 2025

RotaCamp 2025 – Squid Games Edition was a thrilling 3-day, 2-night adventure held from May 16th to 18th, packed with fun, games, and unforgettable memories. Representing Rotaract Bangalore South Parade, Rtr. Vinayak J served as the Co-Chair of the camp, while Rtr. Apoorva headed the Public Relations Team. Both were part of the core team that ensured smooth execution—from venue arrangements and transportation to food, goodies, and activities. The journey began with high energy as Rtr. DJ Madan and Rtr. Nesar kept the bus ride alive with vibrant Karnataka music. The buzz only grew stronger at the venue. The camp kicked off with an enthusiastic inauguration followed by fun warm-up games like Simon Says and Tug of War. In true Squid Games style, campers were divided into color-based teams and participated in creative challenges such as flag making, a treasure hunt, and an Indian twist on Red Light, Green Light using a plate and spoon. The highlight of the camp was the Squid Games showdown, featuring exciting games like Blind Cup Stacking, Dakchi, Sugar Cutting, Deck of Doom, and Snackrifice. Every game brought laughter, fierce competition, and team spirit. Team Green Walkers emerged as champions of the Squid Games, creating a buzz of celebration. Late-night Mafia sessions, DJ beats, and playful moments at the swimming pool added to the fun. A camper beautifully summed it up: “Thank you for an extraordinary camp—perfectly planned, packed with fun, and absolutely unforgettable!” RotaCamp 2025 was truly an experience to remember.

Workshop On Mountaineering

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP) participated in an inspiring and adventurous Workshop on Mountaineering, organized by Rotaract Club of Bangalore Spandana in association with Rotary Bangalore Spandana. The session was conducted by Rtr. Oishik Roy, President of RaC Bangalore Spandana, who passionately took us through the thrilling world of mountaineering—its challenges, triumphs, and essential skills. The session began with an insightful introduction to the world of hiking, trekking, and mountaineering, distinguishing each by terrain, duration, gear required, and associated risks. The detailed comparison helped everyone understand how each activity escalates in intensity and preparation—from day hikes to months-long mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas. Rtr. Oishik then introduced us to essential mountaineering equipment such as ice axes, crampons, harnesses, ropes, GPS devices, and avalanche safety tools. He explained the function of each item using vivid visuals, which made even the most technical gear easy to understand. This part of the session had everyone going “Ahhh!” as we realized how crucial each element is for survival and success in high-altitude terrains. We also learned about India’s premier mountaineering institutes like NIM (Uttarkashi), HMI (Darjeeling), NIMAS (Dirang), and ABVIMAS (Manali), as well as the national certification courses they offer. From basic to advanced mountaineering and search-and-rescue programs, the opportunities to explore this field were laid out with clarity and inspiration. Overall, the session was super inspiring, filled with rich insights and practical knowledge. It opened our eyes to the world of mountaineering—not just as a sport, but as a disciplined and courageous pursuit that demands both mental and physical strength.

Cricket Match Screening - Rcb Vs Pbks

Rotaract Bangalore South Parade (RBSP), in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Orchards, hosted a thrilling live screening of the IPL 2025 Grand Finale between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) on June 3rd, 2025, at That Place for Art from 7 PM onwards. The atmosphere was electrifying as more than 30 cricket enthusiasts from multiple clubs gathered to witness what turned out to be one of the most nerve-wracking finals in IPL history. With both teams donning red and fighting for their maiden IPL title, the tension was palpable from the very first over. In a game that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, RCB clinched a six-run victory over PBKS. The match swung like a pendulum till the last over, and emotions ran high throughout the screening. As RCB held their nerves to end an 18-year title drought, the venue erupted with cheers, high-fives, and chants of celebration. It was a moment of pure euphoria for RCB fans, while PBKS supporters were left with pride and hope for the future. The event was made even more enjoyable with snacks and refreshments for everyone, creating the perfect setting for an evening filled with camaraderie, celebration, and shared passion for cricket.
