On February 8, 2023, our club members had the privilege of participating in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) training session, organized by the Rotary Club of Vijayanagar in collaboration with several other Rotary clubs. This initiative aimed at fostering leadership skills and personal development among young students from local government schools.
A total of ten dedicated club members volunteered their time and expertise to guide and mentor the students throughout the day. The training session was meticulously designed to engage participants through a series of activities, interactive workshops, and team-building games that focused on enhancing personality development and leadership capabilities.
The day began with an opening ceremony that set the tone for the sessions ahead. Our club members introduced the objectives of RYLA, emphasizing the importance of leadership in personal and professional life. This was followed by a series of engaging activities that encouraged students to express themselves, work collaboratively, and think critically.
Throughout the training, participants were involved in various games and exercises that highlighted key leadership qualities such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making. These activities not only fostered a spirit of camaraderie among the students but also provided them with practical tools to enhance their leadership potential.
In addition to the fun and interactive sessions, our members took the time to share personal experiences and insights on the significance of effective leadership in today’s world. They encouraged students to embrace challenges, develop resilience, and pursue their goals with determination.
