Atron Ke Khiladi Season-2 Phase-2

Atron Ke Khiladi Season 2.1 was more than just an event for the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T.—it was a cornerstone that brought directors closer together during the club’s first quarter. Now, the club service team decided it was time to take things up a notch. With plates full of responsibilities (and maybe snacks too), the team cooked up a unique idea: why not join forces with their sister club, the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar? After all, most directors already knew each other, and what better way to strengthen bonds than some friendly chaos? The result? A grand collaboration featuring three entertaining and quirky games that left everyone rolling (sometimes literally). The Octopus Race:First on the agenda was the Octopus Race. Teams were formed by mixing directors from both clubs, ensuring that everyone got a taste of teamwork with a twist. Each team had to pick five brave souls who would lock arms like an octopus and race to victory. Sounds simple? Think again. The human-octopuses started off like cheetahs on a mission, only to find themselves tangled in hilarious trips and tumbles. Despite the chaos, two teams managed to wiggle their way to the top in the first round, sparking cheers and laughter all around. With over 50 participants, the game stretched across three rounds, leaving everyone exhilarated and slightly dizzy. Tambola: Where Everyone’s a Winner (Mostly) Next up was a crowd favorite: Tambola, or as some call it, the game of "wait-is-that-number-called-yet?" Participants received tickets and sat down for what they thought would be a calm, relaxing game. But no, this was Atron Ke Khiladi! As numbers were announced, excitement (and some dramatic sighs) filled the room. Those who completed rows got rewarded with chocolates—a chocolate munch for the lucky ones, dairy milk for those hitting the corners, and a grand Hershey’s Kisses packet for the full-house winners. The room was filled with cheers, and a few participants were spotted clutching their tickets like national treasures. Through all the fun and games, the real prize was the bond forged between the two clubs. Directors and members laughed, competed, and even stumbled together, creating memories that would last far beyond the event. The club service team’s impeccable planning ensured that Atron Ke Khiladi Season 2.1 wasn’t just an event; it was an experience—one filled with laughter, teamwork, and just the right amount of controlled chaos. As the second phase of the season concluded, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. could proudly say that they didn’t just play games—they built bridges, shared smiles, and proved that even in the most tangled octopus races, everyone’s a winner when camaraderie takes the lead!

Star Gazing

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. recently hosted a stargazing event that transported everyone to a world far beyond Bangalore's busy streets. In the early hours of October 19th, 2024, at 1:30 AM, 300 determined stargazers gathered under a velvet sky, ready to embark on an interstellar journey. To the untrained eye, it might’ve looked like they were planning an intense cricket final or an early morning movie marathon, but the real show was overhead, not on a screen. Thanks to the generosity of Rtn. Satish Aryabhatta from Rotary Bangalore South, the club had powerful telescopes from ASSET, making every participant feel like they were playing the lead role in a space-themed Bollywood flick. As the night unfolded, those telescopes became portals to the heavens, bringing out the hidden beauty of the universe. When the moon came into view, glistening with silver light, it was like it had borrowed a filter straight from an SRK romance. The craters, the mountains, it looked close enough to touch. Some joked that if the moon could talk, it would’ve delivered a classic “Main hoon na!” as it sparkled in the night. The true show-stealer of the evening, though, was Jupiter. This mighty gas giant, with its swirling clouds of color, looked like a celestial version of a Holi celebration, while its four moons orbited like backup dancers in a vintage Bollywood number. Attendees were mesmerized, and someone even quipped that Jupiter’s clouds were doing the original “Naatu Naatu” way before it was cool. Guiding everyone on this cosmic trip was Rtn. Satish Aryabhatta himself. With his tales of stars and planets, he had the crowd hanging on every word like a storyteller at an epic bedtime story session. As he described the mysteries of space, he brought out everyone's inner Jadoo, sparking awe and curiosity with every explanation. In a moment of heartfelt gratitude, the club presented Rtn. Satish with their “Project Udaan” calendar, a gift that’s out of this world, but still very desi. He was so taken with it, he decided to pass it on to DGE Rtn. Sridhar, boasting about the club’s efforts to bring people together, one cosmic adventure at a time. This wasn’t just an ordinary night; it was a grand spectacle that left everyone feeling like they’d just had a cameo in an intergalactic Bollywood epic. Under the starlit sky, they found themselves connected to each other and to the universe, reminding them all that sometimes, the most magical scenes in life aren’t just on a screen they’re up there, a gaze away, shining down on us all.

Saathi 4.0

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. has marked a significant milestone with the successful completion of the 4th phase of its ambitious year-long project, Saathi. This phase saw the generous donation of over 210 sanitary napkins to the Sumangali Seva Ashram, an organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged girls and women. The ashram, home to over 80 girls, now stands to benefit greatly from this essential contribution, which aims to improve menstrual health and hygiene—a critical yet often overlooked aspect of women's health. Saathi, which translates to "companion" or "partner," is aptly named, reflecting the club's commitment to being a steadfast ally in the community's efforts towards better health and wellness. This ongoing project was designed with a clear vision: to provide continuous support and resources to those in need, fostering an environment where young women can thrive without the additional burden of health and hygiene concerns. In many parts of the world, access to sanitary products is still limited, and this can have far-reaching impacts on education, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Recognizing this, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. has made it a mission to address these gaps through targeted initiatives like Saathi. By donating sanitary napkins to Sumangali Seva Ashram, the club is not only providing immediate relief but also raising awareness about menstrual hygiene—a crucial step towards breaking the stigma associated with menstruation. The club's dedication goes beyond mere donations; it is about building relationships and understanding the nuanced needs of the community they serve. Each phase of Saathi has been meticulously planned to ensure maximum impact, with the 4th phase being a testament to their unwavering commitment. The girls at Sumangali Seva Ashram now have one less worry, thanks to the thoughtful efforts of the Rotaract Club. This initiative underscores the power of community service and the difference that concerted, compassionate efforts can make in the lives of many. As the project progresses, the Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology remains steadfast in its mission, looking forward to the positive changes that the remaining phases of Saathi will bring.

Atron Ke Khiladi Season 2

On Saturday, 21st September 2024, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. gathered at the serene Cubbon Park for Atron Ke Khiladi Season 2, a collared club service event. This lively event, which was a continuation of the club’s flagship service event from two years ago, was all about fostering teamwork, laughter, and camaraderie in a relaxed yet competitive atmosphere. The day began officially with a collaring ceremony, where the club president donned the collar to kickstart the event with pride and a sense of responsibility. With the formalities complete, it was time to dive headfirst into a series of entertaining activities. First on the agenda was Reverse Charades, where teams did their best to act out words while one brave soul had to guess what on earth their teammates were trying to convey. Hilarity ensued as members pulled out their most dramatic gestures (and some questionable dance moves), making for a chaotic yet utterly fun start to the day. Next, creativity took center stage with Team Pictionary, where wild guesses and questionable drawings led to plenty of laughs. Participants quickly learned that interpreting squiggles could be more challenging than solving a riddle! The action didn’t stop there. The competitive spirit reached new heights with the Rapid Fire round, where participants raced to identify famous brands based on their taglines. With time ticking, even the most well-known slogans became a blur, adding to the fun chaos. To keep the collaborative energy flowing, members engaged in a group puzzle session. As teams worked together to solve tricky puzzles, they were reminded of the importance of communication and teamwork—though, for some, the pieces refused to fit quite as neatly as expected! As the morning of activities drew to a close, the group shifted gears for a laid-back jamming session. With a clapbox and guitar in hand, members created a soothing yet joyful musical atmosphere, winding down the day with melodies and rhythm that echoed through the park. Before the event officially concluded, the members came together for a hearty lunch at a nearby pasta street food spot, sharing laughs and recounting the day’s highlights over plates of delicious food. To bring the event to a fitting end, the club president took the floor once again to adjourn the meeting, marking the official close of a successful and memorable event. Atron Ke Khiladi Season 2 was not only a fun-filled day of games and activities but also a great opportunity to strengthen the bond among club members. With the perfect balance of formal club proceedings and light-hearted fun, it’s safe to say that everyone left with smiles on their faces and anticipation for future events!

Chinnara Chilipili

Chinnara Chilipili was a standout event organized by the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., focusing on promoting co-curricular activities among the children of Yuktha Charitable Trust, an orphanage. What started as a simple discussion on what to gift during the club’s installation ceremony turned into a heartwarming project aimed at showcasing the immense talents of these bright kids. The event featured three major activities: dance, music, and art, with prizes and trophies lined up for the winners. The club's board of directors made a grand entrance, singing and dancing into the orphanage, setting the mood for what was to be a day filled with fun and creativity. The kids loved every bit of it—imagine a Bollywood-style entry, but with more laughter and less dramatic slow motion. The activities kicked off with art, where the kids were equipped with pencils, crayons, and sheets sponsored by the club to bring their imaginations to life. The masterpieces were later photographed, and in a genius move, the club decided to use these works as gifts for guests at their installation. That’s right—no store-bought souvenirs here, just pure creativity from the next generation of Picassos (or possibly, future Money Heist production designers, considering one of the winners drew the show's iconic mask). Next up was music, where the kids belted out tunes like "Kaathu Mela", filling the room with cuteness and vibes that even the directors couldn’t resist. It turned into a mini concert, with everyone singing along, making it the most adorable jam session ever. Each kid had 30 seconds to perform their favorite song, and trust us, there was more star power in that room than an episode of Indian Idol. Finally, it was time to hit the dance floor, and the kids did not disappoint. Every child got a minute to dance, and they rocked it like no one was watching (even though everyone was, and thoroughly enjoying it). One of the kids danced so well, the club service team couldn’t help but join in, with the directors following suit. It turned into an impromptu dance-off, and let’s just say the energy levels hit the roof. The grand finale was the results announcement, where every child won something; chocolates for all, and trophies for those who shone a little brighter. The art category was won by the kid who drew the Money Heist mask, and the dance champion was so good that the club members had no choice but to join the celebration on the dance floor. Events like Chinnara Chilipili are truly special, with everyone contributing to see the pure joy on the kids' faces. The children, aged 8 to 13, reveled in the fun, showing off their talents and reminding everyone that sometimes, all you need to shine is a little music, some crayons, and a lot of dancing!

Akshatha Prasad, represented the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. and played a key role in the event, successfully completing 17 letterhead exchanges throughout the trip. We were fortunate to participate alongside 25 other clubs, enhancing the spirit of camaraderie. Our journey began with our travel arrangements to Mumbai, for which we booked our tickets, while the district graciously took care of the remaining expenses. The inaugural meeting on the first day set the tone for the event, allowing us to connect with fellow Rotaractors and share our enthusiasm for the festivities. Throughout the event, we were taken on guided tours of local and tourist spots, culminating in the spectacular Ganesh Chaturthi visarjan, which was a vibrant and moving experience. The next day, another group of Rotaractors introduced us to more of Mumbai's charm, showcasing the city's unique culture and hospitality. In the evening, we enjoyed a delightful dinner hosted by the District Rotaract Representative (DRR), where we engaged in dancing and singing. This event was not only fun but also productive, as we participated in letterhead exchanges. Rtr. Akshatha's efforts during the dinner fostered discussions on potential collaborations and sessions, allowing us to brainstorm innovative ideas for future projects. As the event concluded, we headed back to Bangalore, filled with wonderful memories and new connections. Overall, RIDE Jash-ne was a beautiful experience of interaction, celebration, and collaboration. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to District 3141 and the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. for this enriching opportunity.

Meet And Jam-phase 2

Following the lively installation ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., Meet and Jam 2.0 struck again—this time with even more camaraderie, creativity, and a few questionable dance moves. Designed to bring the club's directors together in a music-charged, no-pressure zone, the event aimed to strengthen bonds and possibly inspire the next big project (or at least a memorable group selfie). The evening was nothing short of electric, featuring not just the soulful vibes of the original Meet and Jam but also some groovy dance performances that had everyone on their feet—or at least trying to stay upright. Members swayed (some gracefully, others... enthusiastically) to Bollywood hits like Ghungroo and Kala Chashma, took on Tollywood’s Buttabomma and Naatu Naatu, and even threw in a little Sandalwood action with Appu Dance and Jokae. It was a musical buffet, and everyone had their favorite dish. But the day wasn’t all about showing off those (sometimes questionable) dance moves. A lively jamming session unfolded, with members picking up guitars, ukuleles, clapboxes, and beatboxing like they were auditioning for the next big band. Directors couldn’t resist joining in, proving that no matter your official title, everyone can contribute to making a noise—musical or otherwise. Somewhere between the impromptu jam session and mid-dance floor twirls, the directors huddled up for a brainstorming session. Grouped by their respective avenues, they unleashed their creativity, dreaming up ideas for future events with the same energy they brought to the dance floor. Who knew that breaking out a move to Naatu Naatu could spark such strategic brilliance? Meet and Jam 2.0 was the perfect blend of entertainment and strategic planning. Members left with new connections, great ideas, and maybe even a few sore muscles. It was clear that while the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. is serious about making a difference, they never forget to mix in a little fun—and perhaps a few uncoordinated dance steps—along the way. The event concluded with a heartwarming and spiritual aarti of the board of directors. One of the directors held a coconut to ward off any negative energy (nazar), symbolizing the hope that they all remain united for years to come and bring about positive change together. This gesture fostered a sense of togetherness, evoking a feeling of home among the directors. The moment was so touching that a few were moved to happy tears, making it a cherished memory for everyone present.

Wonder Warriors 3.0

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. recently participated in an International Service event organized by the Rotaract Club of Delhi South Central, RI District 3011, with whom they had exchanged letterheads a few months prior. The event featured two key criteria. First, participants were asked to capture the essence of a small-scale business they wished to promote in a 15-second video. To fulfill this requirement, the club ventured to the streets of RT Nagar, where they met an elderly lady selling cucumbers. The woman’s warm and welcoming nature left an impression, and the club's brand ambassador recorded her video, sharing her story through an Instagram post to help promote her business. The second criterion was to showcase a significant club project in line with the Rotary theme for the year, "The Magic of Rotary." For this, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. highlighted their impactful paper bag donation drive by posting photos taken during the event, organizing them in a folder named after their club and group.

Terrace Party

On October 10th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. hosted an unforgettable terrace party to welcome new members and celebrate the club’s Charter Day in style. Perched on the university terrace at 4:30 PM, the event quickly transformed into a buzzing scene of music, mingling, and more than a few spontaneous dance-offs. With upbeat music setting the mood, it didn’t take long for even the most reserved members to break into dance or at least make an enthusiastic attempt! The evening wrapped up on a high note with a lively jam session, uniting everyone in a blend of laughter, offbeat harmonies, and sheer fun. Attendees munched their way through a lineup of treats, from classic cupcakes and nachos to fan-favorite Kurkure, biscuits, and an array of juices. But the real culinary show-stoppers? A homemade salsa and a bold Kurkure bhel, both crafted with love (and a pinch of chaos) by the club’s Board of Directors and members. The salsa-nacho combo was a hit, and the spicy, crunchy Kurkure bhel? Let’s just say it disappeared faster than the Board members could restock it! The terrace party also provided the perfect stage to announce Cypher 2.0, the club’s upcoming hackathon. Organizers took a moment to share details of the event, hyping the chance for students to dive into some serious innovation and skill-building. Judging by the enthusiastic reactions, it seems the club’s passion for tech is as infectious as its dance moves. A cherry on top of the celebration was the profit, a tidy ₹6,880 earned from the event. This amount will be put to good use, funding science kits for underprivileged schoolchildren, helping them explore science in a hands-on way. After all, who says you can’t change the world one nacho at a time? As the party wound down, attendees gathered for a cake-cutting ceremony, honoring the club’s Charter Day in a sweet and simple way. In a quiet moment that followed, the Board members hosted an unofficial gathering, where they swapped stories about the club’s journey so far and brainstormed exciting ideas for the future. All in all, it was an evening of camaraderie, celebration, and just a little bit of silliness, setting the stage for another vibrant year at the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T.

Newspaper Bag Donation 3.0

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. has been steadfastly committed to environmental sustainability through their flagship event, "Newspaper Bag Donation 3.0" This project, now in its second year, highlights the club’s dedication to addressing plastic pollution by promoting the use of sustainable alternatives like paper bags. These students not only contributed to the environmental cause but also gained valuable experience in community service. Once the bags were collected, the club’s directors organized a donation drive in the RT Nagar area. They personally visited fruit vendors and small-scale businesses to distribute the paper bags, ensuring that the initiative reached the grassroots level of the community. By engaging with local vendors and educating them on the importance of reducing plastic usage, the club made a significant impact on the daily lives of these small businesses. Intern With Rotaract

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. has always been passionate about using its technical skills for social good. While our members were eager to teach and share their knowledge, we were waiting for the right opportunity. That opportunity arrived when a faculty member from the Government First Grade Degree College in Doddaballapura contacted us with a request that resonated deeply. Although the college was equipped with computer labs and the necessary hardware, the students lacked even the most basic computer literacy. Many had never even switched on a computer. Seeing this as a chance to truly make a difference, we launched Project CTRL+ALT+LEARN, a four-week hands-on training initiative aimed at teaching fundamental computer skills. As engineering students, we felt it was our duty to extend our knowledge to these underserved areas, helping bridge the digital divide and empowering students with the tools of the modern world. The project spanned 30 hours over four weeks, with a syllabus designed to gradually build both confidence and competence. The structure was as follows: Week 1: Introduction to Computers & Basic Operations (7.5 hours) Overview of computer hardware and software. Understanding internal components (CPU, RAM, storage, etc.) and external devices (monitor, keyboard, mouse). Introduction to operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and navigating desktops, folders, and settings. Basic file management: creating, moving, renaming, and organizing files. Week 2: Troubleshooting & Cybersecurity (2 hours) Basic troubleshooting techniques and using Task Manager for system diagnostics. Introduction to common digital threats like viruses, phishing, and ransomware. Safe practices including strong password creation and system updates. Week 3: Productivity Tools – Presentations & Documents Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Hands-on practice in creating and designing slideshows and writing formatted documents. Week 4: Internet Skills & Smart Tools Guided use of internet browsers for learning and research. Introduction to ChatGPT: understanding its purpose, how to use it responsibly for learning, and real-world applications. By the end of the four weeks, the transformation was truly remarkable. The same students who began the program unable to start a computer were now confidently navigating operating systems, creating presentations, using AI tools like ChatGPT, and understanding how to stay safe online. CTRL+ALT+LEARN wasn’t just a project — it was a platform to unlock potential and spark confidence. For the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., this initiative was more than just an outreach effort. It was a powerful reminder of how impactful knowledge-sharing can be when driven by purpose and compassion. Through this project, we didn’t just teach computer skills — we opened doors to a digital future.

Nim Ooru-nam Touru

On December 15th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. orchestrated an extraordinary industrial visit, blending adventure, learning, and unforgettable moments into a journey that felt straight out of a dream. On the evening of the 15th, excitement electrified the air as participants gathered, their faces lit with anticipation. As the bus rolled in, a small puja was performed, setting a sacred tone for the adventure ahead. With a final security check, we boarded, and the night came alive with music, laughter, and camaraderie. The highway stop for dinner added a touch of rustic charm before we resumed our lively journey, dancing and singing into the night. As sleep gently claimed us, the promise of a new day awaited. The next morning broke with a tranquil vibe, as we woke to lush greenery and the soothing embrace of nature. Jamming to upbeat music while basking in the calm weather, we arrived in Gadag, where the magic truly began. After freshening up, we enjoyed a delectable breakfast by a serene river. Plates of mandakki susla, crispy bajji, flavorful chutney powder, and piping hot coffee energized us for the adventures ahead. The tranquil waters and whispers of nature created an almost otherworldly serenity, making it a moment to cherish. Our first stop was a historic temple, where the calm and soothing ambiance transported us to an era of peace and divinity. The adventure unfolded as we reached the Tungabhadra Power Company Pvt. Ltd., walking amidst the fishermen and tranquil waters of the dam. Witnessing the marvel of power generation against the backdrop of nature was an awe-inspiring experience, a perfect blend of human ingenuity and nature's magnificence. Lunch was an ode to Gadag's rich culinary heritage; authentic rotti, holige, and more, each bite a story of tradition and flavor. As the golden hues of the evening descended, our visit to the mandakki factory unfolded like a scene from a storybook, blending education with a touch of whimsy. Watching the puffed rice production process while puppies played nearby brought smiles to every face. The warmth of the day continued at Rtr. Aditi's home, where her family showered us with hospitality. Mandakki, bajji, and joyous games with her cousin brother added a personal and heartwarming touch to the journey. As dusk turned to night, a magical walk led us to the campfire spot. Aditi's family had crafted a symphony of games that brought out our competitive spirit and laughter. From guessing songs from cryptic lyrics to mimicking animals for team formation, every moment was brimming with energy. As the fire crackled, music united us; a symphony of guitar strings, clap box beats, and heartfelt voices rising into the starry sky. It was a crescendo of joy, connection, and sheer wonder. Dinner under the open sky, paired with nostalgic melodies, gave the night a poetic finish. A playful slide down the hill had us all feeling like kids again, carefree and full of life. As we boarded the bus back to Bangalore, the exhaustion was sweet, the kind that comes from living a day to its fullest. We slept, cradled by the memories of laughter, song, and discovery, until the city lights welcomed us back on the morning of December 17th at 7 AM. With the first rays of dawn breaking through the horizon, we returned, our hearts brimming with stories to tell and dreams that would linger long after. This industrial visit was more than just a journey, it was an odyssey of friendship, learning, and unforgettable magic, epitomizing the vibrant spirit of the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T.

Local Dastan Stop 1- All Aboard For Mundargi's Mandakki Factory!

On December 16th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. embarked on its first stop of the "Local Dastan" journey with an inspiring visit to Mundargi. This maiden initiative aimed to explore and promote the stories of small-scale businesses, highlighting their challenges and contributions to the local economy. At this stop, the club's brand ambassadors focused on Pranam Mandakki Factory, a small-scale enterprise that produces puffed rice (Mandakki). Like a railway station bustling with activity, the factory showcased its dynamic process of transforming raw rice into the popular Mandakki, a staple snack in the region. The ambassadors played a crucial role in crafting a promotional video that shed light on the factory’s operations and emphasized its need for marketing support. They posed thoughtful questions to the owners, such as how marketing could benefit small businesses and the financial nuances of converting rice into Mandakki. The impact of this initiative extended far beyond the visit, with the promotional video garnering over 3.5k views on Instagram. This digital reach not only amplified the factory's visibility but also underscored the importance of supporting local businesses through modern platforms. As the Local Dastan train departs Mundargi, it carries with it stories of resilience, insights into small-scale industries, and a commitment to fostering community growth. The journey has just begun, and the next stops promise even more inspiring tales!

Defense Divas

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. organized an impactful event titled "Defense Divas" to address the critical issue of women's safety, deeply rooted in the values of protection and empowerment emphasized in Indian culture. Held at Sumangali Seva Ashram, an all-girls orphanage, the session aimed to instill self-defense skills among young girls. Shri Harsha Naik, a national-level karate champion, conducted the session. The event began with a briefing on women's safety by the club's president, reflecting the traditional Indian value of safeguarding the vulnerable. Shri Harsha Naik led a warm-up session with all 50 participants before demonstrating practical techniques to counter common attacks, including lower block, upper block, and front kick. These techniques were taught with patience and precision, enabling the girls to grasp the methods effectively. The session emphasized the importance of inner and outer strength, resonating with the age-old Indian belief in self-reliance and preparedness. To ensure long-term benefits, Shri Harsha Naik provided a daily strength-building routine, encouraging the girls to develop both physical and mental resilience. Despite the physical challenges, the participants thoroughly enjoyed the session, realizing the significance of self-defense in modern times. The "Defense Divas" initiative was a resounding success, reflecting the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T.'s commitment to addressing societal challenges while honoring India's cultural values of empowerment and protection.

Core Cookout

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. recently spiced things up with an event aptly titled "Core Cookout," masterminded by the ever-creative Club Service team. In a bold departure from traditional review meetings, the core team found themselves on the proverbial "hot seat," where the Board of Directors (BOD) had free rein to roast them—lightly charred, of course, and always appropriate. It was a rare and intense opportunity for the usually composed directors to air their comedic prowess, and boy, did they deliver! The winner of this fiery showdown walked away with free Spotify and Netflix accounts for a month—motivation enough to keep the roasts sizzling. Rtr. Akshath proved to be the club’s Gordon Ramsay of roasting, bagging the "Best Roaster of the Day" title with quips that left the room in stitches. Who knew the quiet ones had such a spicy streak? But the fun didn’t stop there. The Club Service team turned up the heat with games that tested the directors' poker faces. One particularly memorable game involved staring contests while pulling the most outrageous faces—proving once and for all that laughter truly is contagious. The event was not just about humor; it was a crash course in confidence and communication. As the club often says, "If you can make someone laugh, you can accomplish anything." With this mantra in mind, the "Core Cookout" showcased the club’s commitment to building skills in a way that's as entertaining as it is effective. Let’s just say, after this event, everyone left with improved communication skills, a stronger bond, and perhaps a slightly bruised ego—but all in good fun!

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji

On 30th November 2024, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. hosted a heartwarming visit to the Avyang Foundation, an old age home. The event was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful interactions as the club members spent the day spreading joy and helping the residents relive their beautiful memories. The day kicked off with some serious nostalgia as the club members engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly. Listening to their stories and wisdom was like having a front-row seat to the most entertaining and insightful reality show. It wasn’t just any chat; these were lessons of life delivered with humor and grace, making everyone feel valued and loved. Next up was the ultimate music and dance session, where everyone was seen swaying to the rhythm of old Hindi and Kannada songs like 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain' and 'Santhoshake.' The real showstopper, however, was the dance-off. The residents, in their infinite energy, broke a leg (or two) to songs like 'Naaka Mukka' and 'Khaike Paan Banaras Wala,' showing that they’ve still got moves that could put the younger generation to shame! If energy were a competition, they would’ve out-danced the college crowd, no doubt! For those who preferred a less energetic way of competition, the group organized a series of indoor games like Chowka Bara, Ali Guli Mane, and Snake and Ladder. The friendly competition had everyone grinning ear to ear; proving once again that age is just a number when it comes to having fun. The heartwarming highlight of the day came when the members asked the residents, "What does love mean to you?" The answers ranged from "animals" to "people who care for me," leaving everyone in awe of the simple yet profound wisdom shared. These answers were carefully written down, becoming a treasured keepsake for the club, who now has a collection of life lessons for the ages. The event was made even more impactful thanks to the generous donations from the members and supporters, including essentials like groceries and other useful items. The presence of the Rotaractors, along with their donations, brought immense happiness and comfort to the residents; because let’s face it, nothing beats the joy of good company and a well-stocked pantry! The foundation is headed by a pioneer from the transgender community, with the management and administration also led by individuals from the community. This remarkable leadership creates a platform for holistic growth, fostering inclusivity and empowerment. Listening to the heartfelt stories of resilience, acceptance, and triumph from the people of the community left every member deeply moved. Their journey, filled with challenges and victories, brought an emotional depth to the visit, reminding everyone of the power of unity and the importance of creating spaces where every individual can thrive. This initiative showcased the true spirit of the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., reflecting their commitment to fostering compassion, creating meaningful connections, and helping people cherish their precious memories. Together, they made a real difference, leaving with their hearts fuller, spirits uplifted, and maybe even some new dance moves to show off at the next party!

Rotaracts Got Latent

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. pulled off yet another legendary event—Rotaracts Got Latent—a unique twist on talent shows that’s definitely not like the popular "India’s Got Talent" (seriously, no golden buzzers here). Instead of just flaunting their skills, participants had to put their self-awareness to the test. Before performing, each participant rated themselves. A jury of esteemed Rotaractors then gave their own ratings, and if the scores matched—boom!—they won. Sounds simple? Think again! Turns out, most people either overestimate themselves like a reality show contestant in the first round or underestimate themselves like an engineer before exams. The concept was inspired by stand-up comedian Samay Raina, who once hosted a similar event. The club realized that true self-awareness can actually enhance performance, pushing people out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight of self-discovery (and hopefully not into existential crises). To keep things exciting, the team introduced multiple categories, because why limit the fun? The singing segment had Rtr. Atharv taking center stage, singing "Kya Fitoor" and effortlessly making the ladies lose their minds (it was basically a mini Arijit Singh concert at this point). Joining him, Rtr. Mrudula, Niranthar, and Rithvikh delivered a stunning rendition of "Parishiva" by Raghu Dixit, hyping up the crowd like it was the finale of an Indian Idol season. Then came the dance performances, where Rtr. Kaushik and Kishan set the stage on fire—metaphorically, of course. Their electrifying performance had the audience grooving, proving that dance isn’t just movement—it’s an emotion and a vibe And then came the part everyone had been waiting for—FOOD! In the "Cooking Without Fire" category, Rtr. Prithvi whipped up a feta cheese salad with watermelon that was so good, even Gordon Ramsay would have shed a tear. Each category crowned its own winner, rewarded with adorable goodies (yes, chocolates, because we’re all kids at heart). But let’s be real—the true winners were the participants who dared to step out of their comfort zones, embrace their latent talents, and most importantly, create memories that will last longer than a viral Instagram reel. Rotaracts Got Latent was not just a show—it was a celebration of self-discovery, talent, and, of course, a lot of laughter. The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. once again proved that when passion meets self-awareness, magic happens.

Dear Soldier Phase-2

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. proudly spearheaded a month-long initiative titled "Dear Soldiers," dedicated to collecting heartfelt letters for the brave army personnel safeguarding our nation round the clock. This initiative, aimed at sending warm New Year wishes, saw enthusiastic participation from various collaborating clubs. Recognizing the importance of involving the youth—the future of our nation—the club extended its efforts to one of the most crucial wings of the Rotary fraternity, the Interact Club. In collaboration with the Interact Club of Poornapragna Education Centre (PPEC), the Rotaract team worked tirelessly to engage young minds in this noble cause. The Interactors of PPEC displayed unwavering support and dedication, culminating in a joint project that amassed over 60 deeply moving letters. These letters were not merely words on paper; they were expressions of gratitude and admiration, with some even containing chocolates as tokens of love and respect for the soldiers' sacrifices. Each letter carried a sense of patriotism, reflecting the nation’s pride and gratitude towards its protectors. The thoughtful packaging and genuine emotions behind every message were a testament to the nation's unity and its collective acknowledgment of the soldiers' relentless dedication. The "Dear Soldiers" initiative stands as a heartfelt tribute to the guardians of our borders, a reminder that their sacrifices will always be cherished and honored by every citizen of this great nation.

Rrr - Red Ribbon Rally

On the morning of December 1st, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. embarked on a mission to spread awareness about World AIDS Day in none other than the most happening spot in Bangalore - Cubbon Park. With a bright Sunday vibe and the energy of the city’s morning joggers, dog-walkers, and chai enthusiasts, the team set out to make an unforgettable mark. The event kicked off with the team folding red ribbons into the iconic awareness symbol. These were handed out to the park’s visitors, sparking conversations on a topic often left unspoken. From fitness freaks debating the ideal protein shake to uncles on their Sunday strolls chatting about life, the park's crowd had it all - and the Rotaractors were ready to engage. To grab attention, the club brought along posters bearing slogans like: "Fight HIV, Fight Stigma!", "Safe is the New Cool!" "Spread Love, Not the Virus!". These posters became conversation starters, flaunted proudly in front of curious onlookers and selfie-takers. The team's approach was simple yet impactful - get people talking. Sticky notes were passed around, inviting Bangaloreans to jot down life advice for those facing challenges. From philosophical musings like “Be like filter coffee - strong and flavorful” to practical gems like “Always carry a raincoat; it’s Bangalore after all,” the crowd’s responses brought smiles all around. One highlight was when the team decided to form a ribbon in the park with the life advices collected by the people. Initially, some park-goers were hesitant - because let’s face it, talking about HIV isn’t as easy as talking about the city’s traffic woes. But soon, the Rotaractors’ charm won them over. By the end, over 165 red ribbons had been distributed, adorning not just joggers and walkers but even a few fashionable Labrador retrievers and overly energetic indie pups. The kids weren’t left out either. The team brought a crossword puzzle filled with AIDS-related facts and fun tidbits for the little ones. The children participated enthusiastically - though one clever kid did attempt to swap the crossword for free ribbons to tie on his bike. As the morning progressed, the park looked like a sea of red ribbons - a testament to the team’s effort and the power of awareness. The event ended with all the collected life advice sticky note being used to create a ribbon formation, a symbol of unity and hope. Cubbon Park saw a different kind of Sunday vibe that morning - a mix of meaningful conversations, a splash of Bangalore humor, and a reminder to fight the stigma surrounding HIV. The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. had not just spent a Sunday morning; they had made it count.

Santa Thatha Fund Raiser

On December 1st, alongside their World AIDS Day awareness campaign, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. organized a heartfelt fundraising event at Cubbon Park. This initiative was dedicated to raising funds for Christmas gifts for the children of the Yuktha Charitable Trust, an orphanage that holds a special place in the club's journey. The setup was simple yet engaging, a group of Rotaractors stationed on one of Cubbon Park’s iconic benches, equipped with a few creative games using non-perishable materials like cups. Their goal? To bring joy and raise funds, starting with a humble minimum contribution of ₹30. To show their gratitude, participants were gifted round smiley badges, a small but cheerful token of appreciation. At first, the response from the park’s bustling crowd was lukewarm. The early-morning walkers were busy setting their step records, and the dog-walkers were preoccupied with their furry friends’ antics. But as the morning unfolded, curiosity took over. Slowly but surely, people began to stop, observe, and then join in. The games, though simple, proved to be a hit: Cup Stacking Challenge: Participants raced to stack and unstack cups in record time, Just a Minute Games: Quick, fun tasks that tested reflexes and brought out the competitive spirit in the crowd. The park-goers embraced the fun for different reasons. Some played for the sheer joy of it, others to entertain their kids, and a few (with added flair) to impress their partners. The children, of course, were the most enthusiastic participants, giggling as they knocked over cups and cheered each other on. What started as a quiet setup turned into a lively hub of laughter and camaraderie. The smiley badges became a visible sign of the event’s impact, pinned proudly on t-shirts, caps, and even a few backpacks. By the end of the day, the club had collected ₹2,892—far surpassing their expectations. This amount, though a drop in the ocean of Christmas joy they aim to bring to the kids at Yuktha Charitable Trust, was a testament to the generosity and spirit of Bangaloreans. The event not only raised funds but also created lasting memories for the Rotaractors and participants alike. It was a day of smiles, meaningful connections, and a reminder of how small acts of kindness can ripple into something much greater.

Dear Soldier - Phase 1

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., in collaboration with the Rotaract Clubs of SBMJC - KGF, Bengaluru South End, NMIT MBA, KSSEM, Bangalore High Grounds, and BCWCC, embarked on a heartfelt and impactful project titled "Dear Soldier", a tribute to the brave men and women who protect our nation. This initiative, running from December 5th to December 27th, was organized to send warm New Year wishes to our soldiers stationed across the country. A special desk was set up on our college campus, where participants - college students, professors, Rotaract members, and their families came together to write their heartfelt letters. These letters were filled with messages of gratitude, admiration, and best wishes for the New Year. Most of our club members contributed significantly, with many writing at least 10 letters each. Through this collective effort, we gathered an impressive total of 693 letters. These letters were created using specially designed letterheads crafted by our club directors, adding a personal touch to every message. On December 27th, these letters were sent off on a journey to Bihar, where they were delivered to soldiers on January 2nd, bringing with them the heartfelt blessings and wishes of all those who participated in the project. We are profoundly grateful to the collaborating clubs that helped make this initiative a success. One of the clubs, showcasing incredible dedication, traveled a long distance to deliver their letters in person, going above and beyond to be part of this tribute. Other clubs actively participated by bringing their letters from our college, nearby areas, and local communities, ensuring that the project reached its full potential. Their collaboration and unwavering support were key in making Dear Soldier a standout success, reinforcing the powerful message that unity and gratitude can bridge any distance, even between civilians and soldiers. Together, we showed our soldiers that they are never forgotten and that their sacrifices do not go unappreciated, especially during the New Year.

Financial Literacy Education

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. recently hosted an insightful and impactful online ISD joint project in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Vistas (RID 3234) titled Financial Literacy for Youngsters. The event was designed to address a crucial yet often overlooked area for young professionals—financial management. With the aim of empowering participants with the knowledge to manage their finances wisely, the session brought in an expert speaker, Dattatreya Govindappanavar. Dattatreya, a seasoned software architect and an MBA graduate with over 15 years of investment experience, shared his wealth of knowledge in an engaging and relatable manner. His talk covered a wide range of topics essential for young adults, including the dos and don’ts of financial management, tips on budgeting effectively, and strategies to save money from their first jobs for future investments. He also addressed common mistakes young people make with their finances and provided actionable advice on how to avoid them. The highlight of the session was the highly interactive question and answer segment, where the 40+ participants actively engaged with the speaker. From clarifying doubts about investment options to discussing ways to balance expenses with savings, the participants left no stone unturned. Dattatreya patiently and thoroughly answered every question, ensuring that each attendee walked away with a clearer understanding of how to take charge of their financial future. The event didn’t end there. Following the informative session, the two clubs marked their collaboration with a letterhead exchange ceremony. The presidents of both the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. and the Rotaract Club of Vistas exchanged their club letterheads, symbolizing the strengthening of ties between the two clubs. This simple yet meaningful gesture reinforced the spirit of fellowship and cooperation that lies at the heart of Rotaract. This project went beyond just being a learning experience; it fostered bonds across states and left participants with tools to build a stronger, more secure financial future. The event was a perfect blend of service, education, and fellowship, exemplifying the values of Rotaract and leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended.

Campus Quest-induction Program

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. once again took the stage to spread the spirit of Rotaract—but this time, it wasn’t for engineering students. This time, the club was on a mission to introduce the magic of Rotaract to the MBA and MCA students of their college. Armed with three hours and a ton of enthusiasm, the club set out to blend fellowship, fun, and teamwork into an unforgettable experience. The Whisper That Danced :The event kicked off with a game of Japanese Whisper, but with a twist. Instead of whispering words, participants passed on a dance step. What started as a graceful move often ended up as something resembling a chicken attempting to moonwalk. By the end of the game, the original step was unrecognizable, and everyone was in stitches. The takeaway? Communication is key—but also, so is a sense of humor when things go hilariously wrong. The Squeeze of Secrets : Next up was a game of passing the message—through a hand squeeze! Participants stood in a circle, squeezing hands to pass a “message” while one unsuspecting participant tried to catch the moment it traveled. The room was filled with anticipation, laughter, and a few overly enthusiastic squeezes that nearly turned into handshakes. It was a playful demonstration of how even the smallest gestures can carry meaning—and chaos. The Great Treasure Hunt : The showstopper, however, was the treasure hunt, orchestrated by the ever-creative club service team. Clues were hidden across the campus, each tailored to the courses of MBA and MCA students. Teams raced around, solving riddles that tested their brains, teamwork, and ability to run without looking lost. The prize? A massive Cadbury Celebrations box that had everyone drooling—and strategizing like their life depended on it. One team emerged victorious, their coordination and teamwork earning them both the chocolatey treasure and bragging rights. Fellowship, Fun, and Followers The event wasn’t just about games; it was about introducing the Rotaract way of life—fellowship, service, and a healthy dose of fun. The students didn’t just leave with smiles; they left as new followers of the club’s social media handles. To cap it all off, a membership drive was held, and many were eager to join the vibrant world of Rotaract. With laughter echoing in the halls and new connections formed, the event was a smashing success. The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. once again proved that whether it’s engineers, MBAs, or MCAs, anyone can be drawn into the magic of Rotaract when you mix friendship, teamwork, and a sprinkle of chocolatey rewards!

Christmas For Kindness

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. always strives to go beyond the ordinary, and their Santa Thatha fundraiser was no exception. With ₹2892 raised from the initiative, the club was determined to make a meaningful impact at Yukta Charitable Society. While the usual choices of groceries or essentials were considered, they realized that many already donate such items. Instead, they wanted to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging to the children—something that would make them feel at home and bring smiles to their faces to create a bigger impact the club joined hands with other 3 clubs Rotaract Club of Koramangala, Rotaract Club of NMIMS and Rotaract Club of APSCE as the joint project A Christmas of Kindness. After much thought, the team decided on something special: board games. These timeless games, including Snake & Ladders, Ludo, Tambola, Uno, and more, were chosen not just as gifts but as a way to foster bonding among the children. The club purchased ten board games, each one selected with care, imagining the laughter and connections they would inspire. But the gesture didn’t stop at gifting. The Rotaract team visited the orphanage to personally present the games and, more importantly, to play them with the children. As the games were unwrapped, surprise lit up every little face, and the room filled with excitement and joy. Directors of the club sat down with the children, teaching them how to play, and in doing so, became kids themselves for a while—laughing, cheering, and sharing a bond that transcended age or background. The children’s happiness was palpable. Some were so engrossed that they wanted the games to last a little longer. To ensure no one felt left out, the club also gifted each child a water bottle, a small yet thoughtful token to remind them that they are cherished. By the end of the day, the orphanage was filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. The children had new games to enjoy, new friends in the Rotaractors, and a renewed sense of belonging. For the club, the experience was a reminder of the magic of giving—not just gifts, but time, love, and shared moments. It was a day when joy was multiplied, and hearts were touched on both sides, leaving everyone with smiles that lingered long after the games were packed away.

Connect And Converse | Season 2

While Atron Ke Khiladi may be the biggest club service event of the year for the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T., every now and then, the club loves to shake things up with something unique—an event where participants can bond, have fun, and create chaos without worrying about scores or trophies. And so, Connect & Converse Season 2 made its grand comeback, bringing back classic games from the past with one simple rule—no winners, only fun vibes. The first game of the day was "Biscuit Face Challenge"—a game that made even the most serious Rotaractors look like they were auditioning for a Kannada comedy film. The challenge? Move a biscuit from the forehead to the mouth without using hands. The catch? If it falls, you lose. What followed was a hilarious display of extreme facial gymnastics, with participants twisting, twitching, and winking uncontrollably—all for a biscuit. Some looked like they were solving a tough VTU paper, while others resembled autos stuck in Bangalore traffic—going everywhere except the right direction. Then came the highlight of the evening—the infamous "Wrong Lyrics Water Splash." The rules were simple: a song would play, and the participant had to continue the lyrics correctly. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. The moment someone messed up a single word, they were greeted with an instant splash of water, Namma Bengaluru style—just like when you step into a surprise pothole during monsoon season. One by one, confident participants boldly stepped forward, only to realize they knew Bollywood and Kannada songs much less than they thought. By the end of the game, it was impossible to tell whether this was a fun event or a rain dance party gone rogue—because every single participant was soaked from head to toe. At Connect & Converse Season 2, there were no champions—only drenched Rotaractors, uncontrollable laughter, and memories that would last much longer than their soaked clothes. Events like these remind everyone that sometimes, the best moments come from simply letting go, having fun, and embracing the madness—Bangalore traffic levels of madness.

Some standout designs included a pair of intricately detailed sea turtles, a bold cactus illustration, a stunning blue butterfly with the phrase "You Are Magic," and a vivid tulip design. One of the most unique pieces was a creative take on the Google Chrome "No Internet" dinosaur (T-Rex), adding a playful and nostalgic touch to the collection. Each bag reflected the participant’s creativity, making them one-of-a-kind artistic pieces. Financially, the fundraiser was a success. Each tote bag was procured at ₹30 and sold at ₹100, yielding a profit of ₹70 per bag. A total of 10 bags were sold, generating ₹700 in profit for the club. This initiative not only helped raise funds but also provided a platform for members to showcase their artistic skills and contribute to a meaningful cause. Nodi Namma Ooru - Rid 3040

Nodi Namma Ooru: A Warm Bengaluru Welcome to Rtr. Krishna from Indore As part of the Incoming Ride to District 3191, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. had the incredible opportunity to host Rtr. Krishna from Indore, District 3040. Determined to give him a proper "Namma Ooru" experience, the club planned a day filled with the best of Bengaluru—filter kaapi, sunsets, street vibes, and of course, dosa! On February 27th, Rtr. Krishna landed at Kempegowda International Airport, where he was greeted with enthusiasm by the club’s Rotaractors. Without wasting a moment, they whisked him away for his first essential Bengaluru experience—A2B (Adyar Ananda Bhavan). There, he was introduced to the city’s sacred elixir—filter kaapi, paired with a crispy samosa that hit just right. With his caffeine levels restored, it was time for a more scenic stop. The group then headed to Sankey Tank in Malleshwaram, where Krishna got to witness a breathtaking Bengaluru sunset, the kind that makes even traffic jams feel a little less painful. After soaking in the calm, it was back to the bustling streets of JP Nagar, where he was set to stay for the night. But before calling it a day, there was one more mission—food! Dinner was an Udupi feast, because no trip to Bengaluru is complete without a serious dosa indulgence. From benne dosa to classic masala dosa, the meal turned into a gala of flavors, proving once again that South Indian food is not just a meal—it’s an emotion. The experience reached its peak during the district-level event, where the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. didn’t just welcome Krishna with words, but with music! The club’s team put together an energetic live jamming session during the cultural segment, making sure the event was less about formalities and more about connection, music, and pure vibes. On the night of March 2nd, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. extended its hospitality once again, hosting Rtr. Krishna at the house of one of our fellow Rotaractors. But before calling it a night, we took him on a late-night drive through the vibrant streets of Kammanahalli—because let’s be honest, Bengaluru’s nightlife isn’t just about clubs, it’s about the streets, the vibes, and those legendary late-night eateries. With the city lights twinkling and the roads buzzing with energy, Krishna got to experience the true essence of Bengaluru after dark. By the end of the day, Rtr. Krishna didn’t just visit Bengaluru—he lived it. From kaapi to concerts, sunsets to street food, the city left its mark, and one thing was certain—Bengaluru had found another fan! Nodi namma ooru, feel maadi!

Courtroom Drama

One thing everyone misses when they join college is the thrill of a good argument—the kind where you passionately debate your point without accidentally starting a cold war with your friends. Understanding this, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. decided to create a platform where members and directors could engage in intense yet respectful debates, and thus, The Courtroom Drama was born. The event featured hard-hitting debate topics, with one of the most heated ones being Veg vs. Non-Veg (because if anything can divide a room faster than politics, it’s food preferences). Participants fought valiantly, throwing in solid facts, personal experiences, and a few dramatic gasps to make their points. While the debate got intense, everyone maintained the decorum of a courtroom (minus the intimidating judge banging a gavel). Events like these give people the chance to explore perspectives they usually don’t consider, hone their debating skills, and have a blast while doing it. In the end, The Courtroom Drama wasn’t just a debate—it was a battle of wits, a test of persuasion, and most importantly, proof that Rotaractors can argue like pros without turning friendships into rivalries

Mosaic Of Collaboration

The Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology welcomed the incoming first-year students for the academic year 2024-25 with an innovative initiative aimed at showcasing the essence of Rotaract. Understanding that Rotaract focuses on managing people and projects through effective communication, the club sought a creative way to engage a crowd of 400 students. The idea was to construct a massive puzzle made up of A4-sized sheets, totaling over 250 pages, which, when assembled, would reveal a striking image of a wolf with the words "Team Alphas" prominently displayed. Additionally, the club seized the opportunity to promote their upcoming Cypher Hackathon through this interactive activity. Each student received a sheet of the puzzle and was tasked with placing it in accordance with a reference image. Those who did not receive a sheet were assigned roles to facilitate communication and ensure the smooth placement of the pages. The club initially divided the students into two separate teams, each responsible for a portion of the image. Upon completing their sections, the teams came together, and as the puzzle was completed, a beautiful image emerged, leaving the students in awe. This hands-on experience effectively illustrated the message that when individual pieces are brought together, they create something magnificent, emphasizing that communication is the vital catalyst in this process—an embodiment of the true spirit of Rotaract. The event concluded on a high note with music and a festive atmosphere, successfully achieving two goals: leaving a positive impression of Rotaract on the new students and promoting the upcoming Cypher Hackathon. This initiative marked a significant public image program for the club, demonstrating their commitment to community engagement and collaboration.

Understanding that mental health is just as important as physical health, this session aimed to break the stigma, encourage self-care, and promote a supportive environment for everyone involved. The session kicked off with volunteers sharing key insights about mental health, helping participants understand its significance and the importance of seeking help when needed. To create a warm and uplifting atmosphere, an engaging activity followed where participants were asked to appreciate the person next to them, fostering positivity and making everyone feel valued. One of the most heartfelt activities was a creative exercise where participants designed a heart and wrote positive affirmations inside it, which they then gifted to their loved ones—whether friends, family, or even themselves. This simple yet meaningful activity reinforced the message that kindness, self-love, and affirmations can make a difference in someone’s day. Throughout the session, discussions emphasized the importance of self-care, mental well-being, and recognizing when to seek help. The representatives from Samudra Foundation also shared details about their support network and contact information, ensuring that participants knew they had a place to turn to for help. Baby Bump Tales

On March 29th, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. organized an interactive session at Subedar Paalya Anganwadi with pregnant mothers to discuss their daily habits and the importance of self-care for both themselves and their babies' growth. During the interaction, we engaged in meaningful conversations, asking them about their diet, hospital visits, medications, and the type of delivery they were expecting. We also inquired whether it was their first pregnancy or if they had experienced it before, and if so, how this pregnancy differed from the previous one. The mothers shared their cravings and how they managed them, along with how their families supported them during this phase. Discussions about their due dates and how many months along they were helped us understand their journey better. The session was warm and insightful, creating a safe space for the mothers to share their experiences. As a small gesture of care, we handed fruits to the two pregnant mothers present, hoping to contribute in a small way to their well-being. This interaction was truly special, reinforcing the importance of community support during such a crucial phase in their lives.

Chhote Haath, Badi Baat

On March 29th, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. visited Subedar Paalya Anganwadi to teach young children about hygiene and the importance of washing their hands to stay free from germs. Since the children were between the ages of 2 to 4, we made the session playful and engaging by teaching them the "Wash Your Hands" song. Through music and rhymes, the little ones joyfully followed along, making it easier for them to understand and remember the handwashing steps. We demonstrated the proper way to wash hands, encouraging the kids to copy the actions while singing along. Their enthusiasm and excitement made the session lively, and it was heartwarming to see them enjoy learning such an essential habit. After the activity, we spent some time playing with them, sharing laughter, and making wonderful memories. Before leaving, we handed out chocolates as a small treat for the kids and bid them goodbye with warm smiles. The experience was truly special, filled with fun, learning, and meaningful interactions. It was a reminder of how even small efforts can create a lasting impact on young minds.

Chitti Robo | Robotics Session 1

On 1st March 2025, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. kicked off the first session of its Robotics Awareness Program at Government High School, Kaval Byrasandra, Bengaluru, targeting the bright young minds of 9th grade. With 23 curious students in attendance and at least twice as many questions, the session was a delightful blend of learning and laughter. The club took on the mission of making technology more relatable—no rocket science, just robots (well, almost). The session introduced the basics of robotics, breaking down concepts like sensors, microcontrollers, and automation in a way that was both informative and engaging. A live demonstration of the ultrasonic sensor drew plenty of “oohs,” “aahs,” and one genuine “Is this robot spying on us?” from an amused student. To fuel creativity, the session ended with a fun activity where students were asked to draw what they think a robot looks like. From machines with rocket feet to helpful robots that do homework (if only!), the illustrations were as imaginative as they were hilarious. This session marked the beginning of a four-week journey, designed not just to educate but to ignite curiosity and inspire innovation. The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. is excited to continue guiding these future tech trailblazers—because who knows, the next big robotics breakthrough might just come from Kaval Byrasandra!

Swagath Phase 2

Swagath – Phase 2 was yet another flavorful chapter in the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T.’s journey of warm welcomes and even warmer plates. This time, the occasion was our District Rotaract Representative's Official Visit (DOV), and the guest of honor was none other than Rtr. Dev from Rotaract District 3141. True to our Swagath spirit, we didn’t settle for just formalities. After a meaningful interaction with the board of directors where ideas were exchanged and future collabs were casually plotted, we moved from "official" to "unforgettable." The vibe shifted from boardroom to banter as the club hosted a relaxed refreshments session within our campus – light snacks, lots of smiles, and casual conversations set the mood. But the real magic happened when the gang headed to Cafe Amudham in RT Nagar, a local favorite known for its chill vibe and comfort food that’s basically a warm hug on a plate. Between bites and banter, laughter echoed, and friendships brewed stronger than the filter coffee. Somewhere in between all that, the letterhead exchange – the heart of Swagath – took place, this time between Rtr. Dev and our club, under the banner of inter-district camaraderie. While the letterhead made things official, it was the experience that truly sealed the bond. From meaningful conversations to mouthwatering bites, Swagath Phase 2 proved yet again that when it comes to connecting with fellow Rotaractors, nothing works better than food, fun, and a whole lot of heart.

Rotaractor For A Day

The Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. organized "Rotaractor for a Day" on March 21st as part of the "Mahadan 10.0" blood donation drive, offering non-Rotaractors a unique opportunity to experience the spirit of Rotaract firsthand. This initiative allowed students who were not yet part of the club to actively participate in the event, engage in volunteer work, and understand the real impact of community service. Throughout the day, the participants took on various responsibilities, including managing donor registrations, guiding individuals through the medical screening process, and ensuring a smooth donation experience. This hands-on involvement gave them valuable insight into the dedication, teamwork, and coordination that power every Rotaract initiative. We also took time to speak with the participants and hear their views about volunteering and their overall experience of being a Rotaractor for a day. Many shared how fulfilling and enjoyable the day had been for them, highlighting how much they appreciated the opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Several expressed genuine interest in joining the club next year, saying they enjoyed the energy, purpose, and sense of belonging that came with the experience. Many even said they would love to continue volunteering, whether or not they became official members. "Rotaractor for a Day" successfully introduced non-members to the dynamic world of Rotaract, inspiring them to contribute to social causes while fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork. The initiative served as a powerful reminder that Rotaract is not just about service—it's also about personal growth, leadership, and creating a lasting impact.

Ctrl+alt+learn

Swachh Atria Abhiyan

With a mission to turn clutter into clarity, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. proudly launched the VigyanRang Cleanliness Team for a sparkling experience at VigyanRang Fest (April 10, 11, and 12, 2025). This dynamic team wasn’t just about picking up litter—it was about planting the seeds of sustainability. At the request of the Principal of Atria Institute of Technology, volunteers were arranged to ensure campus cleanliness. Selected on a first-come basis, the first 20 eco-champions, earning AICTE points under "Developing and Managing Efficient Garbage Disposal System," took on the green mantle. They actively managed waste, ensured proper segregation, educated visitors, and maintained campus hygiene. Beyond just maintaining cleanliness, volunteers also innovated ways to minimize waste and encouraged participants to adopt eco-friendly habits. What started as a simple cleanliness initiative blossomed into a movement, transforming the campus into an oasis of greenery and responsibility. Volunteers became warriors of waste, turning awareness into action. Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared vision, the Rotaract Club of Atria I.T. not only managed waste but also nurtured a culture of sustainability. Their efforts ensured a litter-free, vibrant, and eco-conscious VigyanRang Fest, leaving behind not just memories but a legacy of green responsibility.
